It's hard to tell. Re:CoM was the only game in the collection where the HUD elements weren't redrawn (unlike KH1FM, KH2FM and BBSFM) but simply upscaled. Maybe they did this time around and chose different renders for Goofy because the weren't happy with the old one.Not to get off topic, and correct me if I am wrong, but are they using different stock art for the Goofy card in ReCoM? That is stock art from KH2 I believe and I swear I remember the picture being different in both the original PS2 game and the PS3 remaster.
Turns out I wasn't wrong (at least as far as the original PS2 version goes). Why have different artwork here?

I've actually noticed that as well. It bothered me how the card images were blurry in Re:Chain of Memories back in 1.5 in contrast to the other things they cleaned up. Perhaps they did changed it so it's cleaner.
