I thought for sure there was a thread on this already, but there's one now.
Based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman (writer), Tony Moore (artist), and Charlie Adlard (artist), this television adaption is in my opinion one of the best of the zombie genre (and the novels are worth the read I bet). The series is a little bit short, quality over quantity I suppose, there's only two more episodes left as of now after premiering on AMC on Sunday Oct 31 :/
But:
*taken from Wikipedia: On November 8, 2010 The Walking Dead was renewed for a second season, to consist of 13 episodes, after broadcasting two episodes. -> Yay, the story continues~
