[Oracle Spockanort]

Utada Hikaru fans have been waiting with bated breath for the title of her 6th Japanese studio album releasing next month on September 28th, but today the wait is over. This morning through Utada's official website, it was revealed that her 6th album would be called "Fantôme" (meaning "ghost" in French).

"Fantôme" contains 11 tracks including "Hanataba wo Kimi ni", "Manatsu no Tooriame", "Sakura Nagashi" and 8 brand new tracks.

I think I should be more clear about this since I'm post-op and feverish.

Our article CMS automatically posts a thread. If we are in the middle of writing an article while somebody posts news either as a new thread or a new post, we always delete the post unless it is something we did not see first and weren't in the process of writing. It has always been that way. I'm sorry if that upset you in any way.

This is why we are pretty insistent on you guys messaging us before posting news. Either we are writing it or we don't know and would like to give you credit on the site for finding the news.

WELL... KH1 theme in Japanese meant "Light". The lyrics actually are actually way better suited than when they went with the title "Simple and Clean". Even KH2's Japanese theme, which had the English title "Passion" was changed to "Sanctuary". Utada has gone on record saying that she doesn't particularly like writing songs in both languages because she has to change too much of what the song is about and the melody slightly. I do think that "Tomodachi" might be the Japanese theme song -- so let's be on the look out for a preview -- but I don't think the English title will necessarily be related.

None of these will be in KH3 lol.
There is no way that Square or Disney would let her release the theme this early (realistically, we're probably looking at another year before the game hits)
It's possible that the theme song has been recorded, though, as Sanctuary was finished a year before KH2 released.

this is the theme, symbolizing kairi's blossoming relationship with selphie over 2 years.

also, assuming the album will have producer credits (idk shit about japanese music but it should function similarly), we can always check to see if any tracks have Disney/Square/Yoko on them. truth be told i dont remember if simple and clean or sanctuary did lol

I tend to get quite nostalgic when I think of her and her music. I currently have goosebumps. So excited for her new music.
