Tonight, Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5 ReMIX- made a surprise appearance at Variety's Power of Youth 2013 awards!

These awards recognise actors and actresses who donate to help out charity organisations such as the Ronald McDonald House, Project Sunshine and Free the Children.

Among the guests were Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey, Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev, Super 8 star Joel Courtney, actress Katherine McNamara, actor Austin Coleman, and Beasts of the Southern Wilds actress Quvenzhané Wallis.

As Kingdom Hearts was a featured sponsor, a Keyblade was made available for the stars to take photos with and were able to try out a playable demo of Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5 ReMIX- available backstage.

Two things. 1.who does this benefit?(edit: yeah, missed the mcdonald charity mention)

and 2. You linked the second-to-last image about 8 times. After the guy holding the keyblade, every pic is the same one when you click on it.

Awesome, glad to see KH being used for charities. Looks like the celebs are having fun taking pics with the keyblade, maybe we'll have celebrity KH fans appearing soon?

There are already some minor celebs who are fans of the series, but that topic's dead and buried by now.

Love that the series is being used for charity events!

That's normal. It never helps either if you're not watching the network they're on. I can name Jared Padelecki(sp?) from Supernatural, but I can't tell you who's on the Disney Channel these days.

Also, it's nice to see that little kid enjoying watching the girl play KH. New fans wanted.
