Square Enix have given us a first look at some of Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind's upcoming features!
Data Greeting
Choose characters and locations, then take your favorite pictures. Characters' facial expressions, poses and even angles can be adjusted. Create your own one-of-a-kind piece!
Premium Menu
With Pro Code, you're free to set various restrictions and enjoy battles however you like. You'll receive score points by defeating specific bosses and other enemies. Once enough points have been accumulated, your rank will increase.
Slideshow Feature
Using the pictures you've taken, combine it with music and play it all together in a slide show. Make an original album unlike anything else in the whole world!
These features will launch with Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind on January 23 2020 for PlayStation 4 players and February 25 2020 for Xbox One players.

Seeing Radiant Garden and Destiny Islands in the Slide Show makes me wish they were playable in Kingdom Hearts III. :confused:
Here's to hope that the next KH game that is in development comes out in 2021/2022.
Wow. Gotta admit, that HUD for the Data Greeting (photo mode) and Premium Menu (Black Code) looks pretty dang stylish if nothing else, lol. But then, I've always had a weakness for good aesthetics.✨?✨

I'm just so happy to see the Destiny Trio image. Give me all the content for them, Nomura-san. And for Riku and Kairi's friendship, too.

Destiny Islands look lit! I was already impatient about this DLC and now they show this?! It's like they don't want me to make it to ReMind before losing my mind! Good stuff all around :D

Premium menu/Black code looks exactly like how I was hoping.
I'm curious about learning more about the ranking up/point system, and if that's purely for bragging rights/trophies or if they do something else.
Photo mode looks cool. I'm a bit surprised that the back drops seem so restrictive in perspective.
I figured we'd get free range of the camera, but seeing there's two angles of Destiny Island i guess we can't change it.
Honestly, Destiny Island as some sorta picture background almost makes sense. It...doesn't make sense to me for it to be an entire world. Now...Radiant Garden and Twilight Town however...
Well i wasn't expecting a whole world for Destiny Island or Radient Gardin, but sections you can freely roam in.
The Kingdom Hearts Instagram page has also been updated with the English version of all the images/screenshots.

This Black Code feature is dissapointing, the challenge should not come from taking away your tools and limiting your gameplay options, it should come from the player having to be creative in how they use their tools and reward them for that, banning the tools does not accomplish that.
Also rebalancing Links/Form/Shocklock/Grand magic is a far better alternative than removing them.

I think that would be up to the player though, because not everyone plays the same. Critical Mode makes you more creative in how you should use what's at your disposal, because you can't go into CM like you would for Proud or Standard. Now people have the option to do runs where you're allowed to get rid of limited tools if you so choose to, like the folks that do Proud LV1 or Critical LV1 No Damage runs. This is more for those kinds of players BUT you can tweak it to your own liking. Besides, this was what they said the mode would be from the beginning.
This is a premium mode that is for optional use, so we don't know if Links, Forms, Shotlocks and Grand Magic are re-balanced yet. That's only something you can really see in gameplay videos or for yourself, so I wouldn't rule it out quite yet. There's only so much a picture can say.

Aw, I see now. In that case, I imagine it'll probably act similar to Keyblade Transformations, and there are two stages. First you transform into either Dark or Light form (I'm not sure about the name either, lol), then after building up your gauge enough, you get the reaction command to go into Double Form. But you can likely only do this after unlocking both Keyblades already.
That's just my theory though, of course.

Probably not that long. With the PS4's Share Mode, you could get it sent to your social media and then download the image for more editing and whatnot. People work surprisingly fast. I remember when the Final ReMind trailer dropped, within a couple hours, there already were tons of Kairi vs Xehanort fan art and memes.
I'm not expecting much from the photo mode (like I doubt you can even move Sora as far as the pier) but it's an incredibly pleasant surprise.

I just don't know anymore. I thought I was going to wait after ReMind to do Photo Mode but I just don't know. I might have to open my heart to darkness right out the gate with Photo Mode. I know we have like two or three days left but I don't know if I can stand waiting any longer!

Spending endless hours messing around in Photo Mode is exactly what I'm going to do. I'm going to send my friends so many KH pictures they will hate it! Photo Mode is truly going to be a device used for evil mwahahaha!

Technically the Dream Eaters were always there thanks to Meow Wow and his finisher :p

I would've liked if they'd had 5-10 Dream Eaters to choose among. Riku's Komory Bat should've been a definite, but maybe also Zolephant, one of the cats, one of the ghosts, one of the frogs, one of the pandas, the T-Rex, Ryu Dragon, Aura Lion, Drill Sye, KO Kabuto.

Considering how the journal entries work, essentially every original character has always been a Main Character with the exception of the Org who can be placed under their own category.
I've seen some people on twitter speculate that Necho Cat would have been Kairi's main dream eater partner since it is next to her in the donut photo while the boys are paired with their respective ones.

I could see that. I think there are a few shots with her right next to one.
I have the feeling we'll return to the realm of sleep at some point and she might get her partner then.
