The KINGDOM HEARTS Fan Event showed off an exclusive Making of KINGDOM HEARTS 3 and Union X video for attendees last night. Although the video will not be released to the public, UrePia took a bunch of off-camera images!

All those NPCs! This game is giving so much we've been hoping for! Even if we can't interact with them all, just having em there makes all the difference.
HOLY GEORGE LUCAS, THERE'S NPCS.
This really makes it look like they have finally understood the feeling of entering a different world. And especially to have inhabitants.

Though it's stated it won't be released to the public, I'd die for a 'Making of' for KH3 even more so now. There's way too many stories and insight to be shared. Either bundled in with a collectors edition or sold/released later, I can see myself losing a few hours digesting all that.
The game is looking fantastic, the worlds are already going to look more alive with those NPCs!

Judging from these screens, the new Union X world is Dumbo?
I guess I'm the only one freaking out about the literal Game and Watch "Giantland" game like what the crap is that? I guess its some kind of mini-game obviously lol. And I am betting there are a few others like it at least.
It seems like Rapunzel leaves the party in the town, maybe cuz she can't use her hair since its braided?

But yea I would think that heavily implies it could be the world. I didn't expect it in KH3 so this is a pleasant surprise. I still would want it in a not mobile title someday but oh well.[/FONT]
I love the NPCs and town area of Corona. I even like the old-school FF sprites in KHUX. But... wtheck is up with the Game and Watch Giantland thing?

I HOPE we can't interact with all them! I would want to see what everyone says so it'd be a pain to talk to such a large amount of NPCs.
But I'm sure that won't be the case, you'll almost definitely be only able to interact with a few select NPCs.
i don't know if the video message is part of the making of video but i guess risa and irino did a video message together with irino enjoyed the toy story world and risa saying she admies kairi at being so brave and confronting the darkness, something she admits she might not be able to do herself if put in a similar situation.

I'm so happy about NPCs being in Corona's castle town! No more dead empty worlds anymore (at least for the most part hopefully)!
It's nice to have a better look at Rapunzel's character model. And we rarely get a glimpse at the game's development process like this, so I think this is really fascinating!
Now this might be a stretch, but I'm thinking the Giantland might be hinting at a possible Wreck it Ralph world or an arcade in game. Seeing as you're playing as a sprite Sora, I'm guessing he gets transported into this game somehow and possibly others.

Are you talking about the Loudness March Raid Boss? Because this one was introduced as part of the 2nd Anniversary and fits the circus theme of the other 2nd (browser) Anniversary event enemies.

God, the town of Corona looks gorgeous. The mural looks identical to the one from the film, and the amount of NPCs! There’s like more in that single screen than 5 full worlds from KH2 lmao.

Uhh I dunno, I didn't really look at all of what Japan got for the second anniversary. If its the one on the previous page then yeah, I guess. Anyone else getting a Ocarina of Time castle town feel with Corona? My guess is that we will get similar experiences, shop entries, NPC side quests (hints), and possibly mini games.

Omg I would die if this was part of a Wreck-it Ralph world. It does look a lot like some sort of minigame, so that's interesting.
It would also be amazing to have sidequests, I'm a sucker for those. But idk, there haven't really been sidequests where you help out NPCs in the KH games, have there? Then again, they could just add it for the first time in KH3, like the objectives thing with Aqua in 0.2.

The button layout is the biggest thing keeping me from thinking so. I mean there are arcade machines with similar layouts but typically accompanied by a joystick.
Who knows maybe its just a mobile game launch alongside KH3? lol
I hope some of the NPC could give us side quest instead of just standing there or talking random things.

Man, I hope we get those renders of Ventus, Brain, Lauriam and Strelitzia soon. For some reason, the Union X renders that get archived are awfully low quality for some reason?
I'm still surprised that we have yet to hear about this "new world". It's revealed but everyone's tight lipped about it? why?

After Saken translated the Game Watch article, I’m thinking people just got too excited and misreported any announcement of worlds.
Also there's no way to rip those character renders from the game, so everyone has to make do with cutting them out in screenshots. It's the only option right now.
I love how everyone is blown away by the amount of NPCs that show up on screen now, lol. I'll admit it is amazing, but I have a few questions that desperately need answering now.
If you fight in town surrounded by a bunch of NPCs, will they react to the battle unfolding around them. If so, how?
Will they be invincible during battle, or will you have to save them from being turned into Heartless?
Will failing to protect anyone of the citizens lead to a game over? A do over? Will it not affect your game at all?
Will the NPCs be able to aid you in some way? Like dropping items for you to pick up as they run away?
If Rapunzel and Flynn are in the party at the time, will they leave the party to evacuate the area for you? If so, will it be both or just one of them?
Assuming that this new addition to the KH series is not limited to Corona, will we have to worry about similar issues on other worlds?

this was from back in June 2013 when the game was announced at E3.
And if that still is part of the game despite that it was from 5 years ago, remains to see.
Seeing all of this being produced on photoshop and 3ds max, both programs I know well kinda makes me feel oddly inspired. XD I'm so glad they're going to have a white mage costume for ffrk event!! o_o I just wish it wasn't pixelized... but still really good news! :3

Geez, I hope they're just there to talk to and such, lol... escort missions always make me anxious because I get so worried about protecting that individual. XD

Nomura did say there would be fewer worlds, but they would be more filled out, guess this is what he meant? Lol. XD

I always expected it to be like in KH1 & 2, in the few areas where there were NPC's, no enemies would spawn.

Wow, I didn't except Strudel to have went through so many designs.
Really liking F, H, and K. It'd be a shame if some of these designs don't get reused down the line.
