This week's issue of Famitsu has an eight-page spread covering the latest KINGDOM HEARTS 3 trailer that was unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show last week! While it contains no interview with key development staff members, you can check out screenshots from the trailer, new renders for the cast of Big Hero 6, and more!

Yeah, I'm very happy about that lol. We're still waiting for the translators to get back to us with the stage show recap and the Irino interview, so it's nice that nothing else will stack up in the meantime :)

Also I find it kind of funny that Fred could be in his outfit the entire time. Lol, maybe Sora will mistake him for an actual monster.
The more I look the KH3 Box Art, the more it feels it's only half of the image.

The text doesn't say anything about that scene haha, it's just talking about how the game is finally happening and that the cover art was released. The golden text is a nice not-so-subtle shout-out to "Chikai" though. :P

It's talking about how San Fransokyo is a mix of Tokyo and San Fransisco.
Oh, because of the kanji I thought it was some different, what the kanji means? It is kanji right? The symbol.

Learning to, haha. And yeah there's no direct mention but I think the "Chikai" reference (a rough translation would be something like, "As fates intersect, oath becomes power") indicates the motif they were going for with that screenshot so take that for what you will. :P

I think there would be moments in the game/cutscenes where Fred will pull out his Hood and have his head be shown just like in the movie and TV series. Also, yes for a scene when Sora, Donald attack Fred when they mistake him for a monster/Heartless just right after Goofy tells them "Look before you Leap" as a nod to KH2 when Sora and Donald mistook the shadow of Mushu for a Heartless. :P

So...I am most curious about scan 3, where it is discussing the Big Hero 6 cast.
In the upper right it gives little bios of Wasabi, Fred and Honey Lemon in particular, then mentions that they are going to be essentially "fighting along side Sora and Baymax and each of them have their own unique abilities", then lastly points out "Sora's visor as possibly being a means to help them in their fight."
While we haven't seen any footage of any of the BH6 gang actually fighting, or being in the party, at the very least I am suspecting they are going to be jumping in and being background allies. Perhaps we will get links with them if we are close enough? It also makes me curious about the visor a lot now too. I thought it was just an aesthetic thing, but maybe it's actually going to have some in-game functions.
Obviously they didn't outright SAY any of that, but it makes me wonder.

Interesting analysis you brought up, so it seems they will act in the vein as Leon and the Gang to Sora in KH2 where they were assistant characters during the Heartless battles or the temporary party members for Terra, Ventus and Aqua in BBS.

There's no interview in Famitsu this week, and we have already said those pages will not be translated for obvious reasons.

This is my guess, but it never said anything direct to confirm that. Just that they are fighting alongside Sora and Baymax! How exciting! Not sure if this means LITERALLY fighting, or just...in spirit, haha.
But we can hope.

What if there is some sort of "visor"-mode akin to a shot-lock of some sort where you can maybe "target" enemy heartless with the visor and somehow this tells any member of the BH6 team to jump in and assist with it if they are nearby (sort of like jamming the triangle button in KH1).
I will also be shocked if they are fighting nearby and you can't interact with them at all. That would be a real shame. T_T

The thing SE has been clear about with this game’s marketing is that they haven’t even scratched the surface with what they have shown in trailers. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are party members at specific points of the world depending on the location.
