Square Enix has released a new batch of promotional assets for KINGDOM HEARTS 3, showcasing high quality screenshots from the game's latest trailer shown off at TGS 2018 and renders for the Big Hero 6 cast.

Not necessarily revealing anything, could just be random debris out in the Lanes Between. Or it could be more, is all I'm saying. It would make sense if the closer we get to a specific world, the more the space around it resembles that world, which is how previous KH games have more or less structured the Gummi Missions. It could also be that during the Gummi Ship flight portions we'll see bits and pieces of things that hearken back to other Disney titles that aren't in the game, like with the End of the World.

I think the only candidates for Disney films that utilize lava are Lilo & Stitch for the Hawaiian Volcanoes and Atlantis the Lost Empire due to the magma that happens in the film's climax, so it's one or the other if you ask me.

Yeah, after seeing them in high resolution, my opinion is pretty much sealed on the BH6 world, particularly when looking at the skyscraper areas. Distant buildings look jaggy and ugly, and the LOD is extremely low for what is otherwise such a thoroughly polished game. I think BH6 may be our designated black sheep level in terms of polish and looking good in our wittle eyes.

Could be lava. Also one of the gummi sections looked like the remnants of a space ship.

Ya know, Atlantis would also make sense with that burrowing Heartless ship shown right after as it could be a reference to the crew digging through the tunnels on the way to Atlantis. The fortress boss seems likes a reference to Elsa’s ice castle while the flower shaped boss probably references the golden flower from Tangled. Not unreasonable to think this boss also would reference something. The only other film I can think of that has both lava and a tunnel digger is Incredibles, but I don’t see that one making it with BH6 already in.

Don't say that, they have time to polish it yet, and if they don't do this I'm sure that's the best they could do for the fps. But indeed it look kinda off =/

You know, I'd be surprised if we end up getting Atlantis in this game, even if it isn't relevant at Disney, it didn't Stop Nomura and Square Enix to include the obscure cult-favorite Tron as the "Dark Horse" Disney world in Kingdom Hearts II. Perhaps Atlantis can be the "Dark Horse" Disney world in KH3 just like how Tron was in KH2.Frankly, I'm indifferent on which Disney world would be in the final set (Atlantis, Lilo & Stitch, Aladdin, Jungle Book,etc.) to join Pirates and Big Hero 6, so looking forward to seeing what Nomura/Square Enix have in store on which world they chose before the game comes out, but I definitely would like the remaining main 2 Disney worlds to be Traditionally animated as currently, Hercules is the ONLY 2D animated film in III and the Guardians of Atlantis could fit with the Guardian form Keyblade Sora gets.

It's not about them being spoilers, it's the fact that embedding the images into your post rather than containing them in a spoiler tag makes the post large and data-heavy, which can hinder people on slower internet connections. It also just makes the post look cleaner and more organized to have a collection of large images collected in a drop menu. Just a tip for the future, that's all.

Since we will be visiting islands in The Caribbean I'm not sure they could make Hawaii distinct enough to stand out. Atlantis is probably the more likely of the two, and that film might not be all the likely to begin with.

I feel like that would be a little weird with the time period changes. But maybe they could be back to back worlds? It would be interesting to face the Kraken at the end of The Caribbean and then the Leviathan at the start of Atlantis. Certainly a good segue.

That's not the point she was making, and she was just making a suggestion. Some people have poor internet connections so members should try to be courteous and use the hidden spoiler tags when posting a lot of large images so that they'll still be able to peruse the thread.

It's not about them being spoilers, it's the fact that embedding the images into your post rather than containing them in a spoiler tag makes the post large and data-heavy, which can hinder people on slower internet connections. It also just makes the post look cleaner and more organized to have a collection of large images collected in a drop menu. Just a tip for the future, that's all.

I just want to say that even though Atlantis is off the coast of Iceland I think in the movie, Atlantis should definitely be a world-within-a-world in the Caribbean like Tron was for Hollow Bastion. Considering we are able to "dive deep" or whatever that statement was before they released PoTC, it would be so cool if we could take some water pathway in the Caribbean into the world of Atlantis

While it's an interesting idea I think you might misinterpreted on what I said on Atlantis being the "Tron" level. I didn't meant as a subworld like Tron and 100 Acre Woid in Radiant Garden/Hollow Bastion, what I meant is that Atlantis could be the Dark Horse/Obscure Disney movie to appear as a world in KH3, just like how Tron was back in KH2 and the Country of the Musketeers world in DDD (of course I was aware of the films existence unlike Tron. lol) when pretty much none of us at first believed they were going to be worlds due to their obscurity, until they were put into the game. I'm not trying to be condescending metro96, just clearing some confusion.

Since we will be visiting islands in The Caribbean I'm not sure they could make Hawaii distinct enough to stand out. Atlantis is probably the more likely of the two, and that film might not be all the likely to begin with.

If maybe not the Island of Hawaii perhaps they can continue to have it in space and visit the other locations from the franchise so it will protect the plot of the movie and be the Sci-Fi world in the game. Unlikely to happen, but Hey a guy can dream can he?

I feel like that would be a little weird with the time period changes. But maybe they could be back to back worlds? It would be interesting to face the Kraken at the end of The Caribbean and then the Leviathan at the start of Atlantis. Certainly a good segue.

Not to mention despite the different mediums with one being Live-action and the other animated the Time periods are also different. At Worlds End takes place in the 1730s while Atlantis is in the 1910's which is 180 years later, so Atlantis being a subworld to The Caribbean might not be the best idea.
i think the sora and kairi scene will be part of the ending and it will show us what everbosy thing after the battle but i believe the final shot will sora and kairi in the cave looking a the papou fruit drawing they did while sharing the fruit as for riku i got a feeling that he might go on a jorney on his own to help possible who shuggle like he did

Maybe there is and whatever is left of 'light Aqua' is unconscious in Land of Departure...?
Or maybe Vanitas "activated" built up darkness inside Aqua using that keyblade OR via the 'Terra' method (bbs terra arc)

No worries. I saw what you were saying about Atlantis maybe being the obscure Disney world like Tron, but I also would like to envision a scenario where Atlantis was a world-within-a-world like Tron. And I disagree with the “sub world†wording b/c there’s no reason why Atlantis can’t be a fully fleshed out world, just instead of getting there through the gummi ship you end up there by diving into the Caribbean... it’s a bit more canonical that way than arriving at Atlantis in a gummi ship — and it just changes things up. Also, Tron is live-action-ish, even though Hollow Bastian is not. And this goes for the time-period difference as well, but, ultimately it’s a Disney video game, and so I’m not sure how problematic it would be if the time period in PoTC and Atlantis is different in the movies. As suspensions of disbelief go, it seems like one that’s pretty easy to get over — though I’ll admit I hadn’t realize thought about the time difference until now.
