2/23 Union χ JP Update: Dedicated Awakening Draw, FFRK Collab Event

Terra, Ventus, Aqua HD EX and Riku KH Illustrated EX Dedicated Awakening Draws are held from 2/23~3/2! These Dedicated Awakening medals (aka trait medals) are guaranteed in 5 pulls, will grant 1 trait to its medal of origin and fill 1 ability slot. It is also possible to get the original EX medals in their respective draws.

Each draw guarantees 1 returning Premium and 10 VIP coins. Returning Premiums for the Terra, Ventus and Aqua HD EX draws are:

Aqua Illustrated Ver B [1 target | 4 SP cost] Decreases enemy Defense by 2 for 2 turns, inflicts 9 hits that deal more damage the more HP you have
Sora KH0.2 Ver [All targets, 4 SP cost] Decreases enemy Defense by 1 and Magic Defense by 3 for 1 turn, inflicts 5 hits that deal more damage if this medal is set later in the deck
Xion HD Ver [1 target | 0 SP cost] Activates ability of the following medal, fails if none exists
Ventus=Vanitas [All targets | 3 SP cost] Decreases enemy Speed Defense by 4 for 1 turn, inflicts 6 hits that deal more damage when this medal is placed in the 5th slot of the deck
Fury of the Underworld King [All targets | 3 SP cost] Decreases enemy Power Defense by 4 for 1 turn, inflicts 9 hits that deal more damage when this medal is set in the 4th slot of the deck
Namine HD Ver [1 target | 0 SP cost] Activates the ability of the following medal 

Returning Premiums for the Riku KH Illustrated EX draw are:

Sora FinalF HD Ver [All Targets | 4 SP cost] For 1 turn: Increases Upright Attack by 1, decreases enemy Defense by 3. Inflicts 8 hits that deal more damage when set in the 5th slot of the deck
Zexion HD [All Targets | 3 SP] For 2 turns: Increases PSM Attack by 4 and PSM Defense by 2, decreases enemy Attack by 1 and Defense by 1. Inflicts 7 hits that deal more damage with more SP
Auron Illustrated Ver [All Targets | 2 SP cost] Inflicts 2 hits at fixed damage regardless of enemy Defense. Deals 200,000 damage with max strengthening.
Aqua Illustration Ver B [1 target | 4 SP cost] Decreases enemy Defense by 2 for 2 turns, inflicts 9 hits that deal more damage the more HP you have
Terra KH0.2 Ver [All targets | 6 SP cost] Recovers 3 SP, inflicts 9 ultra-powerful hits
Xion HD Ver [1 target | 0 SP cost] Activates ability of the following medal, fails if none exists

The Unlimited Play campaign returns from 2/23~3/11! During this time, the following are in effect:

• AP cost for all quests is set to 0
• AP cost for all Raid Bosses is set to 0
• Experience obtained in medal synthesis is doubled
• Munny cost for medal synthesis is halved
• Guilt bonuses is set to a higher range

Final Fantasy Draw is held from 2/23~3/9! Players can pull for free once per day to get a FF medal! Available medals are:

FFRK Special Draw from 2/23~3/9 features 4 exclusive medals, and the first draw is free! These medals are capable of 120~200% Guilt.

Terra FFRK Ver comes with 5 ability slots filled and grants 80 pet points, whereas the other three come with 3 ability slots filled and grant 15 pet points. 

Each draw guarantees at least 1 FFRK medal and 10 VIP coins.

Terra FFRK Ver [1 Target | 5 SP cost] For 1 turn: Increases Guilt by 30% and Attack by 7, decreases enemy Upright Defense by 2. Increases Attack Counter by 2, inflicts 8 hits that deal more damage against standalone enemies including the Raid Bosses' main body
Tyro [1 Target | 1 SP cost] For 1 turn: Increases Guilt by 15% and Attack by 5. Inflicts 5 hits that deal more damage against standalone enemies including the Raid Bosses' main body
Dr. Mog [1 Target | 1 SP cost] For 1 turn: Increases Guilt by 15% and Attack by 5. Inflicts 5 hits that deal more damage against standalone enemies including the Raid Bosses' main body
Elarra [1 Target | 1 SP cost] For 1 turn: Increases Guilt by 15% and Attack by 5. Inflicts 5 hits that deal more damage against standalone enemies including the Raid Bosses' main body

The FFRK Challenge Event is held from 2/23~3/9! Clear all 20 quests and defeat the Weapon Master and Mysterious Star Boss Heartless to earn 1000 jewels!

A campaign to earn FFRK rewards will also be held, depending on how many players complete all 20 quests:

Likewise, players can earn rewards for KHUX depending on how many dungeon bosses are defeated in the FFRK event mission:

Important to note, These rewards are not cumulative. 

Players will be informed when rewards will be distributed once the campaign ends.

High Score Event held from 2/23~2/28! Try your best to rank as high as possible to get the Warrior of Light FFRK Ver and Final Fantasy Boosts to buff FF medals until 3/31! 

Warrior of Light FFRK Ver [1 Target | 5 SP cost] For 1 turn: Increases Guilt by 30% and Attack by 7, decreases enemy Upright Defense by 2. Increases Attack Counter by 2, inflicts 8 hits that deal more damage against standalone enemies including the Raid Bosses' main body

Union Cross is updated for 2/23~3/9! Clear quests to earn coins and redeem the Final Fantasy Boost to buff FF medals until 2/28!

There are 3 sets of Cross Boards this time:

Challenge Boss Time is held from 19:00~19:29 and 23:00~23:29 JST, during which players will receive more Cross Coins.

The following medals will receive buffs from the Final Fantasy Boosts:

Medals that function only as trait rolls? Nice to see, but I would have preferred one that can trait any medal, not specific ones. Oh well, it's Square-Enix.

So...EX Booster Medals? Interesting. Limited to being used on the EX they match, but provide a Dot and a Trait. They're glorified FMBs, but rather limited in use. I do find it hilarious that they literally cannot be used in the deck in any way due to 999 Deck Cost. Would prefer FMCs for Trait Rolling, but it's a step I guess.

DRAGOON AND RED MAGE. MINE. SO MINE. I will be getting those two no questions asked! Best part of the event for me and it hasn't even started yet.

Rather disappointed that the new Medals are gonna be a draw instead of event farmables. Oh well. Guess we'll see what effects they have later today. Terra will no doubt be the rare, which is sad because I really like the Pixellated look of the Medal. That was a nice touch.

So these Awakening medal will only give an ability to the medal they represent, e.g. Terra HD Ex will only give an ability to another Terra HD Ex medal?

What a stupid concept. Even if you knew which ability it would transfer it's still stupid if it's only applicable to one medal.
There should be universal medal that grants an Awakening ability or at least let's re-roll it without the need for a duplicate.

That would be nice, given how I barely want to draw from the collab banner as it is lol, and I really think the pixel border is neat.

The collab campaign objectives have been cleared with 7 days to spare! So we can expect 1000 jewels, 1 Cid10, 5 Moogles and 5 HDL after the campaign ends on 3/9 :)

Sweet. IIRC we got the first goodies in Gloobal too, so looking forward to an extra 1k Jewels.
