Happy New Year! As a present, players will receive 5000 jewels!

Kick off the new year with events from 1/1~1/3! Clear the quest challenges to earn 5000 jewels, Moon and Sun gems, Chip & Dale SP Ver and a special title.

New Year Union Challenge is held from 1/1~1/3! Defeat the Circus Fortress in Union Cross and get rewards based on everyone's performance! 

Players who successfully defeat the Circus Fortress will also receive the 'Brave Knight' title.

A Union will be successful so long as any player in its ranks defeats a Circus Fortress.
Only the first defeat will count towards the Union the player is currently in. If a player transfers to another Union and defeats another Circus Fortress, it will not count.

Get Subslot Medals from 1/1~1/15! Defeat enemies to earn Event Coins and use them to get Tier 7~10 Subslot medals!

The rare Gift Shadow will drop lots of coins; equip accessories that grant Rare Enemy Luck and Drop Luck to increase your chances!

Magic Gem Drop Event is held from 1/1~1/31! Defeat the Wavering Spook, which will randomly drop 1 of 3 gems. The higher the difficulty of the quest, the higher the drop rate and chances of seeing rare enemies.

The rare Adventurer will always drop a gem. Equip accessories that grant Rare Enemy Luck and Drop Luck to increase your chances!

Coliseum Board for January 2020 features Hugging Bernard (Rare Enemy Luck+2) and Hugging Bianca (Drop Luck+3). Top players will also receive a new skill: ATK XL IX 100%.

Limited Missions for January 2020 offer Hedgestar Grey pet parts! Obtain lots of solo lux to get them! 

Monthly Gem Quest is updated! Clear the objectives to earn up to 10 Sword Gems, 10 Wing Gems and 10 Mystic Gems, as well as Chip and Dale medals!

Raid Event is updated for 1/1~1/5! Defeat the Lion Dance Headliner to earn coins and redeem rewards like Broom Servant and Magic Mirror medals.

Bonus Time is held from 12:00~12:59 and 22:00~22:59 JST, during which AP costs 0 and players will obtain more Lux.

KHIII Special Draw from 1/1~1/13 features SB++ KHIII Terra, Ventus and Aqua medals! Each pull in a banner guarantees 3 ★6 or 7 KHIII medals, 1 trait medal, 3 gems (Terra=Power, Ventus=Speed, Aqua=Mystic) and 10 L/R VIP coins. Get the new SB++ medals within 10 pulls!

These medals have the new 'SB Restore' ability. Upon activation, it will restore previously used SB for an additional use. They feature specific restrictions, such as restoring only SB by P/S/M attribute or Upright/Reverse.

SB that have the restoration ability will not be affected.

Additionally, during this period, there will be an exclusive Vip board offering SB++ Terra & Ven & Aqua with Status Bonus! This medal can restore Upright Medal SB. 
You'll need 280 VIP coins in order to get it. As with all limited VIP boards, up to 4 subsequent boards will be added after the each one has been cleared, for a total of 5.

SB++ KHIII Terra [All Targets | 1 SP cost | T10] For 1 turn: Increases Upright/General/Power ATK+15 and Guilt+220%, decreases enemy Upright/General/Power DEF-15. Inflicts 5 hits that deal more damage against standalone targets

(AOE) Super Burst: Restores Power Medal SB. Increases Guilt+300% for 1 turn. Activates before the 6th slot in PVP.

SB++ KHIII Ventus [All Targets | 1 SP cost | T10] For 1 turn: Increases Upright/General/Speed ATK+15 and Guilt+220%, decreases enemy Upright/General/Speed DEF-15. Inflicts 5 hits that deal more damage against standalone targets

(AOE) Super Burst: Restores Speed Medal SB. Increases Guilt+300% for 1 turn. Activates before the 6th slot in PVP.

SB++ KHIII Aqua [All Targets | 1 SP cost | T10] For 1 turn: Increases Upright/General/Magic ATK+15 and Guilt+220%, decreases enemy Upright/General/Magic DEF-15. Inflicts 5 hits that deal more damage against standalone targets

(AOE) Super Burst: Restores Magic Medal SB. Increases Guilt+300% for 1 turn. Activates before the 6th slot in PVP.

SB++ Terra & Ven & Aqua [1 Target | 1 SP cost | T10] For 1 turn: Increases Upright Medal ATK+1500, Upright/General/PSM ATK+15 and Guilt+220%, decreases enemy Upright/General/PSM DEF-15. Inflicts 7 hits that deal more damage against standalone targets.

(AOE) Super Burst: Restores Upright Medal SB. For 1 turn: Increases Upright Medal ATK+2500 and Guilt+300%. Activates before the 6th slot in PVP.

New and old New Years Lucky Bag are available from 1/1~1/12 for 7770 jewels and 5000 jewels respectively!

So, I guess those medals kinda prove that Terra holding Earthshaker wasn't a fluke or placeholder; they meant to do that. So, is TAV's endgame Keyblades not canon or something? Up until this point Lingering Will has always held Ends of the Earth, but it appeared to hold Earthshaker in another trailer. I don't know about Ven but Aqua definitely had her endgame Keyblade last she saw of it. We saw it in the Chamber of Repose along with her armor. This is confusing.

But, how would that even work? They would have to do more than one formchange for each weapon form of EotE. Like, You walk around and attack with EotE with the initial change, but go into "Archer" mode for Auto-Shot. Or the shotlock is Ultima Cannon. Maybe they'll implement the different forms in the combos for EotE. Like the whip attack being a combo finisher or modifier.
I'm probably just reading too much into them not having Terra hold the EotE in the Re:Mind trailer and these medals.

I'm probably just reading too much into them not having Terra hold the EotE in the Re:Mind trailer and these medals.

UX is handled by a different team so it's more that they're just using what's been provided to them, rather than trying to leave hints. Sometimes the models can be indicative of certain things occurring in development (like when we found out about the 3D remaster prematurely because they used an updated model for a KHX card) but when it comes to things like lore and gameplay, I wouldn't try to read too much into it. There are some lead staff overlapping but generally UX team has no idea what KH3 team is planning.
