I pulled Ventus on my second pull. This is quite a streak of luck for me... Considering I also pulled Aqua on my third pull in her banner, Sora and Kairi EX in the first pull of their banner, and Xion EX in the first pull of her first banner. Every EX medal I have pulled for recently!

I'm not saying that will keep up. However, to be honest, I'm not really feeling any pressure with this game anymore. That's why I've been pulling for medals I just want. Ventus because I want his music, but could also turn out good in my Fairy Stars setup.

People are like "Wait for the anniversary!" but there aren't any super exciting medals coming out, and the content in the game has been so stale. There might be a little pickup for anniversary, but I don't think it will be much.

Meh, that's already expected for global, lol. XD At first I was upset that the vip was just going to be a male avatar, but I'm like " you know what? They basically just screwed themselves over by making it limited to male only, cause now I don't have any urge whatsoever to buy this week's vip, and just save until next week's female only vip, which will probably be white mage no doubt. Thankfully though, I love white mage and it's one of the two costumes I really wanted from this event anyways, and seeing how dancer looked female, I'm sure that's another female only vip in the future. XD So that's like three weeks of vip I'm practically guaranteed not to spend money. XD"

I want the White Mage outfit but if I don't get VIP this week, I don't think I will be able to mercy Aqua...maybe I will see if I manage to get lucky with the last few pulls but lol. It doesn't seem like it.

Okay, really starting to feel like SENA just doesn't care. At all. I mean, there was plenty of evidence for that before but for a while it seemed like they tried. Even recently with the new cheap deals, heck the Top Drawer Deal has been pretty amazing for me even with no iXEX yet. But they're not including the Jewels in the VIP? And we're the only ones not getting 'em? For a company that seems to want our money, they sure do hate money. It baffles me, straight up baffles me. I can only hope that the other four Avatars aren't locked behind a paywall. Really want that Dragoon...

Aaaaaand...no story quests.

How's Taiwan's collab event comparing with the other two btw? Did they get the daily FF draw? Did they get a free first pull from the FFRK draw? Did they get the hairstyle from the 20-quest challenge event? I'm looking at the differences between JP and global and just getting frustrated, so I'm curious how the third version fits in with all of this. D:

They've gotten the VIP quest with the Warrior costume, a Challenge Event offering the Magitek Armor avatar and Union Cross offering WoL and Terra medals that have been ultra-nerfed for the current meta:

All Targets / 1 SP cost

Ability: Flare Break+5
Inflicts 8 hits that deal more damage the more abilities have been used

Base Multiplier: x 1.40~1.54
Max Multiplier: x 1.70~1.84
GUILT Max: x 2.56~2.76

Guilt: 20~50%

The FFRK collaboration is complete butt. Pulling for the medals that would have worked better as event medals, VIP avatar parts, and worst of all, the Gilgamesh and Kefka quests are boring as crackers. I wish we at least had a little story with our precious Keyblade buddies Bandanna Girl, Fro Boy, Pink Jetpack Ninja, and Mog.

After realising I forgot to do coliseum (like usual), I remembered today that I haven't started yet. Been doing this for a few hours now while distracting myself with something else and I even have trouble hitting top 10.000. I've been playing for a long time now and got all the new non-ex medals, all of them guilted max, so this is just ridiculous. I'm currently crawling somewhere around 13.000 and hope to miraculously make it into top 10.000. When has coliseum become SO hard? Not even 3 months away I was able to hit top 2.500. Does anyone else experience the same pain as me or do I just suck at luck?

Trust me, it's not just you. Between some HP inflation and the newer enemy setups, it's gotten harder to rank up in general. I have Kairi EX and Fenrir is my best set for Upright. I just barely made Tier 15, whereas when KairiEX came out I was soaring through Tier 16 with few issues. The Boss this month also has seriously spiked HP levels, so skip over it at all costs. If you have any Counter increasing medals at all, consider vaulting by using your strongest sets against the Poison Archer rounds, that's what I had to do. Solid buffing and GED-60 Medals will help a lot with spamming that round. If all else fails, abuse Second Chance and rush up a round at a time until you hit an absolute wall. With SCIII and a Rank 5 Pet you have 3 Turns which gives quite a bit of leeway for bumrushing.

Ranking in Coli has certainly become centered around having EX medals in general, especially the Uber Buffers. Sad to say, I expect next month to be more of the same, possibly worse due to TAV's Guilt Boost powers further increasing overall damage output and letting people vault higher. Good luck man.

Yeah, Coliseum has become ridiculous. Also take into account that people are more cut-throat this month because of the ABV Max and Lux Plus skill. Here I'm just ranking for free ABV Maxes! Don't even care about the Lux Plus because I am so done with Raiding. It is the worst thing ever.

Pulling Ventus EX was the best thing that could have happened to me for Coliseum this month. This morning I had fallen several hundred places overnight and was at like 960th place. I thought my Boosted Ground/Aerial Defense Down Illustrated Halloween Donald, HD Xion with Ground Enemy Defense down, Boosted Aladdin and Magic Carpet (unfortunately with garbage traits), and Boosted Valor Genie with Ground Enemy Defense down, could carry me far... But that's not true, not even in the modern game, believe it or not.

Ventus EX has a weaker multiplier so he was my last resort. I didn't realize how effective he would be. The fact that he does more damage to individual enemies and then buffs my Genie is amazing. It's always those single enemies that get outrageous HP that stop me.

I'm not even at my limit, but with my Ventus EX having an Attack Boost V (not Max), my patience is low. I climbed up into the 400s, I've been there for the last few hours. I think I'm safe for top 1K.

I pulled in to do the Coliseum the other day after thinking rank 18,000+ was no good so I worked hard to get myself into the top 10K. During that I rolled EA on my Vanitas HD, and that freed up a spot on my Fairy Stars so now I know how amazing Days Riku is and I feel bad for neglecting him in the past.

Checked last night and I was still in the 3000's. I gave up trying to go for top 2.5K when I realised that you don't get an additional ATKBV & LUX+.
