In a move that shocked many, Kingdom Hearts 3 had a brand new trailer released this morning at the Square Enix press conference at E3. Most of the footage was gameplay in Olympus Coliseum, Twilight Town, and a world based off Tangled.

The trailer did contain a few plot points in it, mainly a discussion between very young versions of Xehanort and Eraqus. We've previously encountered Young Xehanort in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and [Dream Drop Distance], however this iritieration is the youngest he's ever been.

Thankfully Square Enix brought back Ben Diskin, one of our favourite voice actors to join the Kingdom Hearts series, to voice this Younger Xehanort. The voice of young Eraqus is still unknown at this present time. It is no doubt that Mr. Diskin will be on hand to voice both young versions of Xehanort when Kingdom Hearts 3 releases on Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

Heh, good to have "Trollenort" back in action.

His voice really fits the younger Xehanort.

This is probably unlikely, but Diskin could voice both Xehanort and Eraqus.

Yay! The actor sounded really similar, but it is nice to get a confirmation that he is back. I am looking forward for his future trolling. It is gonna be amazing. I just can`t wait to see all the discussions between Xehanort and Eraqus.

So can I ask something? If this trailer is never before seen, does that mean it hasn't been seen in Japan as well? Because they used English voice actors right? What about Japan? What trailer do they get (probably the same)? And when (probably shown around the same time I guess (still gotta ask))? And does that mean that the release dates between the Japanese and English versions will be that much shorter?

I have a theory: there's an intelligence behind the Keyblades; like, Master Xehanort's Keyblade possesses the mind of it's original owner, and was influenced through the whispers and such of said previous owner.

Maybe, Kingdom Hearts 3 would fill us on that. Would Eraqus and Xehanort's master make an appearance?

Mmm, maybe if they do some flash backs. I think (if I'm right) the intelligence was waiting for just the right person to influence. OR Master Xehanort is the reincarnation of said original wielder

Young Eraqus is voiced by Drake Bell. You can hear his voice distinctly.

Having not been impressed with his work in the previous games, I was really happy to hear how Ben Diskin sounds in this trailer. His delivery of that final line is just dripping with implications. I like the idea of YX being a mischievous trickster.

At least for Japanese Eraqus, I'm fairly confident that he's voiced by Daisuke Namikawa.

Really wish Ben would reveal who the English voice is but I understand that it's not really his place/he's not allowed to. Knew instantly that he was reprising his role though :)
