Today is KINGDOM HEARTS χ[chi]'s first anniversary, and there's an incredible surprise awaiting players in Daybreak Town. As we finally gain access to other areas of the world, we discover gummi pieces scattered throughout all over the place, a hot-headed duck and a bashful dog. Who are they, and what are they doing here? We'll have updates and translations available shortly, but for now, please enjoy this special artwork by Tetsuya Nomura to celebrate the occasion!

KINGDOM HEARTS x [chi],
for everyone out there that wields a Keyblade,
thank you so much.

In this world, Keyblades are wielded in great efforts to protect its balance, and we welcome and greet its first anniversary.
The management staff gives special thanks.

For commemorating the first year anniversary in appreciation,
I drew a new picture,
which I foresaw as a card for everyone to retrieve.
By all means, continue to protect the balance in this world,
and I'm glad you are enjoying this game.

Re: KINGDOM HEARTS ?[chi] 1st Anniversary!

Gummi Block Event (17th July - 14th August):

1) Play through the event story missions in Daybreak Town. This story mission will take place in Daybreak Town Outskirts, an event only world. Clearing the first one will earn you the Gummi Radar to earn Gummi Blocks.

2) Defeat the event heartless and earn Gummi Blocks. There are red, yellow and blue Gummi Blocks, dropped by different heartless: Red, Yellow, Blue Gummi Thrusters.

3) Alike to the Crystal of Light event, you can spend your Gummi Blocks to level up your Gummi Radar. Doing so will increase the amount received per heartless defeated.

4) Alike to the Easter event, there is a booster item to boost the amount of Gummi Blocks you can earn by 3 times in 5 minutes. Leftover boosters by end of event will each turn into 3 medals.

*When you defeat the event heartless through Guilt Help, you will not earn any Gummi Blocks (outright telling us those heartless are in the Guilt List......)

*You have till 21st August to spend all your Gummi Blocks.

NPC Support:
- Upon using a Gummi Booster, talking to either Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Chip or Dale will earn you a bonus.
- Only 1 bonus can be earned per booster use
Donald (Promenade): Receive a base of 150 Gummi Blocks
Goofy (Promenade): Receive a base of 150 Gummi Blocks
Mickey (Central Market Place): 60 AP recovered
Chip/Dale (Seaside Park): Recover 1 minute of booster time

Re: KINGDOM HEARTS ?[chi] 1st Anniversary!

A Raid Boss mission list just went up for here through Wednesday. Looks like we're going to be seeing everybody, one a day. Well, not holiday bosses, but everybody else!

Keyblade will be the Starlight.

Re: KINGDOM HEARTS ?[chi] 1st Anniversary!

Thank you for posting this information so quickly!
I was completely at a loss as to what to do @__@
So far the only problem I've encountered is well..
not encountering any yellow heartless, unless I'm color blind x'D

Either way, thank you!

Too much stuff to internalise in one go. My brain is still fried up from teaching so many children. @_@

In any case, thanks for the mission details, Kaz. I'm going to read it through slowly.

Now that we have a complete list of Thruster locations, I wonder if anyone would come up with an effective route to make the most use of the boosters. I don't think it's necessary, though, considering we have three types of gummi blocks and it will take greater effort to optimise the loot against the route.

You're welcome! And welcome!

No need to thank me though. It's just a bad habit of mine to hunt and reveal and new information ASAP. No use hogging information to myself anyway haha. Did this for lots of other games as well, Corpse Party Blood Drive is my next target to dissect lol.

Bad habit? Generally it's a good thing since it's helping a lot of players here, so yes thank you Kazr10.

Thank you!
I had every intention to figure all of these things for my partner in crime that plays KH Chi, but alas I just stared at the Japanese text like always and killed Heartless to see if anything happened > A>;
Been playing since open Beta and I still feel like a rookie x'D

Oh wow! I've only read the manga and watched the anime for Corpse Party and somewhat spoiled myself with an ending or two from the game. But I haven't actually played the game so no idea how many routes there are.

I don't think there's any route but.. for the yellow boosts it would be wise to use it
in Agrabah like so
Dry Desert (渇きの砂漠): 2 x Yellow
Faltering Sand Dunes (ためらいの砂丘): 2 x Yellow
Rocky Ground of Rejection (拒絶の岩地): 2 x Yellow

Since it's the only parts where a lot of yellows gather.

And then for the reds simply run around Event Daybreak Town.

As for the blues I would say Dwarf Woodlands.~

Kazr, can you please list the boost rate for each level of the Gummi Radar alongside where you've got the required number of Gummis to level up?

That would be my guess as well. If you're just aiming to get as many blocks as possible regardless of the colour, probably Agrabah or Dwarf Woodlands is a good place since there are many Thrusters in continuous maps.

Remember to visit all the maps that you might be going through before activating the boosters, because that will speed up the subsequent loading times for said maps!

By defeat the event heartless under Guilt Help, do you mean I am being helped by others or I am helping others (using Guilt Help)?

I'm pretty sure that means the latter, since there's no way to control the former. XD

First thought when I saw the art piece: Nomura, jesus, get the colours of your character designs right...

...and then I noticed the scribbles. Good job.

Sorry I did not record those values down. So many things going on I simply missed it.

Anyway, do you guys need the L22 thrusters' locations? Or I can just suggest the best hunting spots, since the only time you need to fight them is for the guilt.

L22 Red: Desert portion of Agrabah, Event Daybreak Town
L22 Yellow: Forest portion of Wonderland
L22 Blue: Daybreak Town
