RP battles have no OOC section. The IC and OOC happens on the battle threads themselves. Basically, you post your character template in a challenge (either one that you have made, or on one that is open and hasn't started, or sometimes they allow for people to join in shortly after the start). Bear in mind that most people who RP here like detail, so try to flesh out your templates a bit (or a lot).
If you're curious about what a roleplay battle is, then post up an open challenge in the battles section of the roleplay area. I'm sure a veteran member (if there are any remaining these days), would be able to accustom you to the concept.
