Okay bit of a update.
I might of finally found the root of the sleeping issues; DUST ALLERGIES ugh. Seems that messes with my nosie which messes with my breathing, which means crappy sleep. So I'm trying to dust more with a Pledge that's supposed to help with allergies. And clean my room more and vacuum, not to mention wash my bed every week, which has been helping. Oh and get my consoles dusted out, and go take the pc outside and blow THAT out. (The local NOT-GAMESTOP game shop has a console repair service, so we've been taking consoles to them that are out of warranty. Got my ps4 cleaned out by them since I'd rather have someone who knows what they're doing monkeying around with that!)
Also I did mention the Mickey CRT in this thread, so thought I'd just post up a pic.
I figure for a KH fan, not to mention a Disney fan, like me, that isn't a bad thing. Not to mention it's not a huge honker of a CRT tv and it fits in my room. Space is a issue in here! 'Neko is saying he might get me the matching DVD player so I could play old tv shows in here that were made when CRTs were THE THING. I wouldn't say no to that tho this is pretty much for retro gaming. 'Neko told me a year or so ago he found it at some estate sale, and it was used by a school for a while (proly why it has marker marks on one of the "ear" speakers). It also means I need to find another KH poster for that corner! LOL! Hopefuly I can find a good one at Momocon next year tho I SWEAR, you do not see a lot of good fan art posters of Sora and crew blaaah. Part of what took us so long to set this up is we had to assemble a flat pack bedstand and we kept putting that off.
Anyway for those not in the know; CRTs are best for a lot of older consoles from the PS2 era on older, maybe even for ps3 but I'd rather keep that on my more modern tv. The other option is you have to find a expensive upscaler, like the Retrotink 2X-Pro or find a Framemeister, which isn't being made anymore and is horribly expensive. Check on Youtube sometime. ^^ There's a lot of videos on the subject; modern tvs just don't like your NES or your PS2 very much ha.
