Did they? I didn't actually read them yet, though I've been meaning to. I want to see how they handle Damien's death, but I don't think they'll do it justice in the long run. I wonder how he'll be shoehorned back to life in a few years.

Yeah, the ripple effects of Damian's death should be hitting pretty hard. It's almost like they just weren't prepared for anything similar to this and now they're just suddenly surprised about it. It just proves that they don't really have their shit together.

I agree, but I sort of think the movie should have been more focused around the citizens. Like the movie should have been built around them.

Yeah, they were trying to stress how important Gotham's people were and yet the first two movies are all about Batman (for the most part) and TDKR is just too chaotic to be about them.

That's so true. Gotham City stories are almost always better than Batman stories. There are some exceptions, I think. The Dark Knight Rises is the first that comes to mind cause I just watched it again the other day. Definitely a poor Gotham City story.

I'm partial towards Bruce, tbh, but it's probably only because I've ready a lot more comics where he's Batman.
