It’s reminding me a bit of Legends Arceus where you have NPCs who appear to be the ancestors of gym leaders and other important characters although they never outright confirm it. I do wish more effort had been put into the designs though. I get the idea of the uniforms, but they definitely clash with the hair colors.

I gotta say, the computer room took me by complete surprise.

It’s interesting those researchers have similar outfits to those of Ansem and the apprentices with the white coats and ascots. Wonder if Ansem could have descended from them.

Also, time for a fanfiction where Nept is the father of Triton and that’s why he knows about Keyblade wielders. He’s bitter against humans and Keyblade wielders because of daddy issues. (Neptune/Poseidon being Trition’s father in mythology.) Lol

I'm happy that we're finally getting background info on Aqua and Terra in getting to see what their ancestors were doing. Nomura likes surprises and curveballs but I'm pretty confident in just calling them family. I wonder how these plot seeds will grow into the future. I bet Nept will have made some mistake, sin, or have an unfinished quest. So, Nept will be directly or indirectly responsible for some big thing that needs to be cleaned up in the modern day and the job will probably fall to Aqua.

I don't see any of the Guardians of Light really caring if they found out they were blue bloods. They'd just want to keep helping people and spending time with friends, same as always. They might even already know, just because we're in the dark about what their old family members did doesn't mean they don't know. If this sort of thing is become relevant I bet it'll be due to trolling caused by MoM or some other person like that. "Oh, Terra/Aqua, look at this! You're part of the important family line that's destined to accomplish X! Yes, it's because of your bloodline, not because I'm manipulating you to do something for me, now you'd better get to work! Only you can do it!"

I think we could be pretty close to release based on the updates that were made to the game. I don’t think they’ll be making any drastic changes between now and release. From what I’m seeing, the additional graphic options have helped a lot with performance. Still some jank, but I think that’s inevitable with any of these GPS games.

The only thing I am holding out hope for is an English dub. With the number of cutscenes, I think it would be worth an English dub. I’m hoping Disney will push for it if there will be any voiced Disney characters. Only thing is that might slow down updates and cause the English story updates to take longer.

It's crazy how it looks so detailed only to be pretty much wrong outside of the fact that Darkness existed for as long as light.
