It has been a week since the official release date for KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5 ReMIX- and limited edition artbook was revealed. Everyody is excited to get their hand on this HD remaster and has been scrambling around to secure their pre-orders, but many are confused over what stores are offering the limited edition artbook.
Below is a compilation of retailer listings for the HD remaster and hopefully it will help you all in your quest of obtaining the special artbook!
KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5 ReMIX- is due for release in North America on September 10th, Australia on September 12th, and Europe on September 13th.

Just preordered from Gamestop yesterday. While I've never had a problem getting my preorder bonuses from them, I've heard of others who have and it always makes me kind of nervous ordering from them

There weren't any Belgium links on the official Kingdom Hearts site and I don't know of any Belgium retailers that sell games, but if you can tell me some I can look it up for you.

PS3's are region free, and it is highly unlikely this game will have DLC.

I don't really think square will make a subbed version for us, but the KH fanbase around here is pretty big too... Region 1 games(the ones from the USA) can come with subs but if the US version won't come with spanish subs al least then you should forget about portuguese ones because all the games here are region 1 ones... or preorder it from Europe and get the game in spanish, it's easier to understand than the english one =P
I think the only producers who make portuguese subs are WB, Ubisoft and Sony itself(god of war 4)... but it's pretty hard to tell if kingdom hearts will come with it because I really think they'll realease the game officially in this country this time .-. (yep, we never oficially got Kingdom Hearts =( ), maybe they'll go like ni no kuni and release a box written in portuguese with a game in english/spanish =P
That's kind of sad though... i really love brazilian voice acting... specially when it comes to disney

Do you know which Amazon site you purchased it from? If you were able to make a transaction through the US / .com site, you should be fine. Furthermore, if the option to ship internationally is available, it will indicate as much on the listing, and the listing here (Amazon.com: Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix: Video Games) states, "Shipping: This item is also available for shipping to select countries outside the U.S." If one of those select countries is Brazil, I think you'll be okay.

I searched around a bit and as it turned out Bol.com seemed the best option to pre-order it from here in Belgium.
It's listed under the Netherlands' stores, but they also ship to Belgium.

Yeah... but tomb raider is from Eidos also... i've never seen a final fantasy game with subtitles... that would be huge though... most of times the games here come with some huge translation issues, but it's really nice to know they remember us...

Just found out that it isn't a pre-order bonus in the Netherlands :( 10 euros extra for the limited edition, bummer! But will get it anyways.

Oh sure. I can now feel guiltless not having my old US copy around anymore.

I'm so irritated since it comes out on September 10th and I start school on September 11th. Not to mention I'm picking it up at Gamestop, and I'm in college and the Gamestop I'm getting it from is by my house, not my college. UGHHH. That travel time from my home to my apartment is gonna shave some of my play time that night.

Well there is the whole Gamestop opening at a certain time, then I take the train to Chicago which takes about an hour, then another 2 hours going to my apartment from there. So three hours. Doesn't seem like much but the whole train schedule is what kills it. Haha.
That is a lot it seems, unless you're talking round trip there in which case, it's still a lot.
But still, now that I come to think of it, that will probably be about as much time as it takes me. Nowhere near Chicago though.

Do you mean they don't want people to pass their final exams that give them a mark that determines which universities they can go to and if they don't get the mark they can't go into that course next year?

The art book is 24 pages long. Hardcover. Contains a special message from series creator Tetsuya Nomura. Contains "never-before-seen" artwork.

This happened to me with a game.
Just call customer support, they will say the website sometimes does this and that there's only one version. Tell them, no, there's two. They will check into it, see there is two, call the store you got it from and it will all be fixed from there.

I would double-check with them just to make sure that you will be receiving the limited edition concept artbook and dynamic PS3 theme specifically. Several members have begun reporting that their local Gamestops are just not offering the bonus anymore because there are none left available.

it's a first come first serve when you pre order while supplies are in if you pre ordered when they ran out of books then you can't get one but if you pre ordered before that time than you have a gurantted copy

Because the game is expensive and unless you have money to spare, you can't afford to be spending it willy-nilly.
The only real practical thing is to get them to cancel the second order. Other than than that, you either sell it, or give it to someone for christmas. If you get the art book twice, you may be able to sell that as well and make (back)more money.

That's pretty amazing actually! I don't suppose it's unheard of for a Limited Edition to sell out, but it's still cool to see fans have such a desire for a little something extra!
Just called up at Gamestop to see how much I had left to payoff the game and come to find out I had pre-ordered back far enough to get the art book, yayz!
