It's six days before E3 2013 and the trailer for KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5 ReMIX- has been leaked online thanks to GamersPrey! Check it out below and tell us what you think in the comments!
KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5 ReMIX- will include for the first time in outside of Japan KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX, KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories which was previously only released in Japan and North America, and KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days remastered as HD cinematics. The entire collection contains trophies, updated graphics, updated gameplay, and remastered music by series composer Yoko Shimomura.
Pre-order the KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5 ReMIX- releases this Fall on September 10th in North America, September 12th in Australia and New Zealand, and September 13th in Europe.

Roxas looks even better than I remember. Including the summons and combos. By far the best trailer we've got to date and E3 is that close! :O Mystery Figure, how I can't wait to battle out it out against him.

I really love this new argyle pattern with the images of KH in between some symbols. I really hope they start using that argyle for future things like consoles and such. I like the KH argyle with just the symbols but it's a bit too plain for me.

I just checked to see if this trailer was on PSN yet and it's not. No surprise there. It's an E3 trailer so it'll likely go up with all the E3 material.
Edit again: just looked at the Deep Jungle shot and and that is impressive detail in the plant life, but it still doesn't quite look up to the standards of a new game the way some claim. Still very nice though.

They already updated textures and models and whatever else they could. Too much change and it wouldn't even be the same Kingdom Hearts. The fish face is annoying but it didn't hurt in 2002 and it doesn't hurt in 2013. If this WAS a game made in 2013, it'd be a different story but it's still only a remaster.

Not really...tell that to Japan where they horde games for a year or more...Or even to North America and Europe where we still have a few months gap in between releases despite being in the same language.
The wait is done to align with the new school year where parents will be most willing to spend money on their children or reward them for school accomplishments, and to lead well in to the holiday season.

It's a leaked trailer. It shouldn't have even gone online today but somebody screwed up.
Well, things other than japanese game localizations. I'd figured that here of all places didn't need that repeated. I've been on like every relevant final fantasy and KH topic including type-0. It's pretty common knowledge.
And that sounds like I'm just making up an excuse to cover a mistake. I just wasn't thinking of the games at the time I wrote that reply. Actually I was thinking about Hollywood. That was my real mistake right there.

We figured it was self-explanatory. Jt's the E3 2013 trailer and the event doesn't start until next week, therefore, one can assume it is leaked.

Oh, I'm just expecting there to be a demo so if Ethy and Sign play it, they will be able to say what button they used to attack with.
I do admit, I got confused at first when playing KH2FM cause the O<>X switch but... once you get used to it it's easy.
I know the X <> O switch even from way back with Final Fantasy VII, as there even the german version had the O for confirming things. It is the only one of my FFs to have this, but that helps actually to never forget it. :D
That trailer is really some eye candy and probably even ideal length. Normally Square is known for four to eight minute trailers, but those always hold the danger of revealing too much.
Anyways... I just can't wait until it comes out! I'm going to be playing this baby like crazy! >3<

Yeah, I am not expecting an announcement either at E3. Seems like more of a TGS thing. But who knows, might be a good announcement for Square Enix Presents rather then a big press release or during a big press event. We'll just have to wait & see.

If he is there it will probably be for Versus XIII (which is highly likely to be changed to FFXV), wouldn't expect anything big KH related beyond 1.5 in English being there. Though I could be wrong.

If I recall correctly Nomura usually doesn't like to attend such events in person except maybe Jump Festa which is his favorite event.
So if he's there and actually goes on stage it would probably be something really important, like perhaps Versus, but not something rather "trivial" as KH HD 2.5.

They have a set plan for releasing things. This is probably going to back up soon, however they probably want to stick to their schedule. Especially after the bombardment of Lightning Returns information, they probably couldn't deal with Kingdom Hearts at the same time.

as far as i know the lightning returns one was officially posted by square enix uk. because the only trailer ive seen is in france subtitles from square uk.

Maybe they might reveal an updated version of the trailer. I remember last time one of the LRFFXIII trailers got leaked and then SQ took it down. And then later they uploaded another one a few days later with more content.

Touché on that one, I disregarded that they actually showed that one, although they are pretty good in not revealing too much from CoM and Days.
It is easily deduceable with Yen Sid's warning of "multiple Xehanorts" in Re: Coded and the last scene in the trailer with Sora sitting in a throne and then a wide shot over the whole throne room with many black coats sitting there.
Yes, we, the audience, knew, but that Xehanort also knows is something completely new that wasn't hinted at in any game before.
The comparison with Obi-Wan is a bit flawed due to the fact that Obi-Wan outright says in the first movie (Episode IV) that Vader was his apprentice once, already establishing the fact so any trailer for a later installment would not spoil anything on that fact.
Regarding Sora's multiple hearts that was never addressed in-universe as to be known to one of Xehanort's incarnations.
Lol, yeah. How dare Square to want to have control over their property and how and when they publish it. It's like as when I would create a painting that I want to show off to the public at a certain date and then someone takes a photo of it and publishes it before that date without my permission.

I don't think it's exclusively advertised towards veteran fans though, hopefully it'll bring in more new fans. It's been quite a number of years ever since the first Kingdom Hearts.

If my memory serves me right, did Square actually advertise that Days was only going to be cutscenes in the trailer? It just came to my attention a while ago that they possibly didn't, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't think it's weird that they didn't advertise the fact.

I know that. But the problem is that they didn't advertise it in the trailer. You and I both know that the game is cutscenes, but some who may not keep up with the series don't. So I think it's strange that Square didn't explicitly say that Days was only cutscenes in the trailer, as it my throw some people off.

Remember that the trailer was leaked, it's probably mentioned somewhere at least, perhaps at the end of it, but we will see the official trailer soon enough. They've detailed this on their main site, so they haven't neglected to inform us.

Yeah, this trailer was more focused on the fact that it's a compilation for PS3. They didn't even really make a big deal out of the final mix "new content", as the unknown was not singled out as a new boss and "even better than you remember" is a tagline often used for remasters and can easily refer to HD.
Days is there. final Mix is there. But the specifics aren't touched upon.

Some people were right. The KH3 reveal made me almost forget to watch the 1.5 trailer. :P It's really good too except they used days footage for Re: CoM. :confused:
If he is there it will probably be for Versus XIII (which is highly likely to be changed to FFXV), wouldn't expect anything big KH related beyond 1.5 in English being there. Though I could be wrong.
