Re: Naminè
I'm guessing Namine might come back, but she's really lost most of her importance in the series at this point. She was one of the main characters of CoM, then got demoted to Roxas' love interest (or at least the KH equivalence of that) by the end of KH2. Now Xion has basically jacked the spot as Roxas' closest friend, as weird and creepy as that is, and has left Namine out in the cold. coded tried to give Namine some importance again, but she was basically just a plot device there. She doesn't have a whole lot to do going forward. She doesn't even need to mess with Sora's memories any more. But I'm sure Nomura will find a way to shoehorn her in.
Well, it was also in CoM that Sora promised Naminé that one day they would be friends for real without any memory junga-bunga, that is another point that has yet to be addressed.
The "love interest"-stuff stands on extremely shaky grounds, as in KH2 Roxas only turned to her because he was confused, totally lost and she was the only one willing to tell him anything.
Just as he said to Axel in Days:
Roxas in Days: said:
If I can't get answers here, I'll get them somewhere else. Somebody
knows where I came from. That'll be the person I trust.
It's in the end also remarkable (or just another case of KH2's stupid writing) that after regaining his full memories Roxas was rightfully angry at DiZ and Riku, but conveniently not at Naminé despite her just using him as a tool to awake Sora and brainwashing him.
When the time comes what i wonder is how will there revival affect the orginal what will they looses if when there other leave them?
There won't be any long lasting ill effects, they have their own hearts, which makes them their own entities already. They just don't have a physical form.
The "hypocrite"-speech of Young MX isn't
totally off in that regard, although he probably does not know that while Sora has these hearts, he keeps them still separate from his own (unlike Xehanort) and does not use them for his own gain.
That their hearts are still separate is also shown in very good contrast in DDD: While Axel's new heart got assimilated/united fully into Lea's heart and gave Lea access to Axel's memories, Sora cannot do this with Roxas' and Xion's memories.
He sees them as their own entities and thus their memories remain in their still existing, unassimilated hearts. That's why Roxas had to take Sora's hands and
show him his memories through the connection of their hearts.
Pretty sure the idea behind Ansem the Wise's research is that they can become individual entities without affecting their Somebodies.
I tend also to believe that Ansem's data will play a role in this regard as well.
Same, I don't even know what Namine really is anymore, well maybe I never knew to begin with, which is why its so hard to come up with logical responses in Namine threads, there's very little information to base anything off of to begin with when it comes to her
We never knew to begin with, lol.
Naminé's actual nature while she existed is one of the biggest mysteries of the series. Yet when she becomes her own full person after her "Birth By Sleep" it probably will not really matter anymore and Nomura will just drop the constitition of Naminé's first existence under the table.
