Sony announced today their plans to sell all of their 9.52 million shares in Square Enix, which amount to a nearly 9% stake in the company overall. The pricing and other details will be shared tomorrow.

Square Enix's merchandise department never rests, always developing new products for their popular franchises like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Dragon Quest. As luck has it, there are plans for some new merchandise based on the fan acclaimed series The World Ends With You. 

Fans will soon be able to purchase their own official decorative pins based on the brands within The World Ends With You and while these pins can't be used to activate any powerful psychs, you'll be able to show off your love of the game by attaching them to your clothes and bags.

Yoko Shimomura's newest album celebrating her 25th anniversary, memória!, will be released in two weeks and fans of her work will be able to enjoy brand new arrangements of some of her most iconic pieces. The official website for the anniversary album has been updated with samples of music from Super Mario RPG, Legend of Mana, Parasite Eve, and more. One of these previews includes "Dearly Beloved", the theme of the Kingdom Hearts series.

After several long months without a shred of new information regarding either of the two Kingdom Hearts titles currently in the works, something has finally surfaced. The latest issue of Famitsu Weekly contains a segment interviewing various game developers, of which includes Series Director Tetsuya Nomura, He reminisces about joining Square Enix (formerly Square Soft) and says that the recording for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix has been completed.

Now that the content we've heard about in the previous report are out of the way, it's time for another update from the Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] development team. This update, to be implemented March-May 2014, will include team battles, new deck-editing options and the expansion of Dwarf Woodlands!

Well, this certainly doesn't happen very often! In a strange turn of events, the official Kingdom Hearts Facebook page posted a link to a players survey. If you can spare a few minutes and are interested in filling out the form, you'll be able to answer questions based on your opinion of the Kingdom Hearts series, general taste in games, wishes for preorder bonuses, etc.
