Square Enix unveiled a brand new trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue today at Jump Festa!

It's the plush everyone has been waiting for! After 2 and a half years since Kingdom Hearts χ [chi] was first released, a plush of one of the main characters Chirithy has been in high demand.

The Kingdom Hearts Premium Theatre at D23 Japan last month left many fans upset when the footage and trailers shown at the event were unfortunately not uploaded online. However, thanks to I Love DCS JP, we can see some offscreen Kingdom Hearts 3 footage from Mysterious Tower including the new Attraction Flow based on Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster!

Through Yahoo News Japan and Sports Hochi (via @Gzi009), it appears that she may be making her official return in Spring 2016.

In Game Informer's latest issue (December 2015, #272), writer Kimberly Wallace was able to discuss a few details about the upcoming collection with Series Creator / Director, Tetsuya Nomura. On December 19th and 20th, Jump Festa will be taking place at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, Japan. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will be in attendance with a trailer being shown to attendees.

The trailer should be revealed to the public soon after, much like Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5's 2013 Jump Festa trailer that released on December 24th in English.

It's the true end of an era, folks. Despite the fact that the Kingdom Hearts II manga series ended a few months ago, many fans held onto strong hopes that there would be a new series based on one of the other games in the series like Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep or Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance].
