All right, let's get down to business. I only have about two pieces of noteworthy Squeenix news to mention, so here we go!
Square-Enix revealed a new action-packed video for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy Dissidia in their DKΣ3713 event. Starring characters from different Final Fantasy instalments, this PSP game looks quite promising. It has a unique real-time battle system mixed with RPG elements, and the graphics appear to be at their best for the PSP. If watching the game play in this trailer doesn't blow you away, then wait for the CGI graphic scene that plays near the end, featuring familiar Final Fantasy faces fighting in a unique area. To be honest, watching this trailer makes me want to go out and buy a PSP just for the sole purpose of playing Dissidia! But enough of me babbling; go on and watch the video here!
I have a bit more of Dissidia news for you. Shortly after the release of this trailer, Square-Enix announced the addition of two new characters to the game: Cecil and Golbez. For those of you who don't know them, Cecil and Golbez are both from Final Fantasy IV, Cecil being the protagonist and Golbez the antagonist.
In other related news, Square-Enix has confirmed that both Star Ocean: The Last Hope and The Last Remnant will be playable at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2008 on the Xbox 360. Those attending the event will not only be able to watch exciting trailers for these games but will also be able to put them to the test! Now that should be fun!
And that's all I have for you this time around! Check back a week from now to get more info'd up on general Square-Enix news.
