Kingdom Hearts III Kairi Brings Arts Prototype Revealed

The Bring Arts line is ever-growing, and today Square Enix, at San Diego Comic Con, revealed that Kairi will join the lineup in her Kingdom Hearts III design.
Not much else is known at this time, but we will update with more information as we learn more! Please note, the final toy may end up varying from the prototype.

This, along with other stuff--like how they seem to have been hyping Kairi up since DDD's secret ending--actually gives me some hope for her role in KHIII. Now dear God, please don't let my hopes be crushed--now that for the first time in years, I'm actually starting to believe Kairi might be treated decently again for a change. And maybe even better than she ever has been before.

I hope her Keyblade will be revealed in time for it to be included with the figure! Maybe we’ll see her wielding it in a TGS trailer.

That's a possibility. If she does get a new one I'm hoping it has a Mickey keychain like Braveheart and Kingdom Key

Yes! I only have the original school uniform Kairi from way back when so I will want this especially if she has a new Keyblade

Can someone clarify: Are these BAs Square's in-house line of smaller KH figures supposed to be a response to the commensurate S.H. Figuarts types of toys? Because my collecting wires are getting crossed.
I already have two BA versions of KHIII Sora (and the heftier PAK ver.) - his standard look and his Second Form. But now we get a Kairi! I really prefer Play Arts Kai, but I may have to nab her for sure unless a larger scale is unveiled.

I didn't give figures a shot beforehand, and I still wish I would have pick up some of the earlier PAK library for the DDD figures. I received my first SH Figuarts (a Sailor Moon figure) as a gift sometime shortly around that. So I had started collecting two separate lines of differently scaled figures, and I really didn't want to go down that collecting route, but I fell prey. ;0;
And yeah now that they've been releasing KH merch, I'm tempted! But it's KHII stuff, which is the last line of merch this series is hurting for, so I'm holding off.
Great prototype, but she looks a bit stiff in this display. I'd like to see her have a battle stance.
I wonder if her hood has the ears? Maybe someone will share a picture from a different angle.

I literally only have one PAK and its Aqua, and she is gorgeous lol. But I think the old Play Arts and these Bring Arts look really good as well and being like half the price on top of it is what seals it for me lol.
I had to try super hard to not get DDD Riku...I think I just didn't have the money for him. And then again with the Tron forms lol.
I desperately want the Sailor Moon Figuarts, my local comic shop has a few I just can't swing it right now lol. I am sorry, its an expensive hobby to have lol. I wish I hadn't gotten into it so much as a teen but I did and just never looked back. Tho I do worry about running out of room lol....
I got Donald and Goofy instantly since Square has neglected to make them aside from Formation Arts, and they are both wonderful, but yea. Unless they make the Space Paranoids, Timeless River, or Atlantica Forms I will probably abstain from from the Figuarts till they move onto a different game lol.

Yeah I’d be fine with them ditching the ears. They were kind of random and I think they’d make Mickey and Minnie feel uncomfortable. Lol

but how else are they going to use character design to shoehorn a strained connection with their worst and most popular game as a literal "please be excited" and substitute actual character development for their most neglected protagonist?

I like Riku's capped sleeves, and I didn't think Kairi's ears were so divisive. I don't care if they're there either way. They're cute I guess, but it does come off a little Hot-Topicy. :E

The ears are so goofy that I kind of like them. Is she going to put on her furry hood during action scenes? I hope so! Aqua should start wearing those cat ears from 0.2 in canon, let's get totally nuts with the new wardrobes.
