The latest Dengeki Magazine reveals hoards of information on the future of the KH Series, below is some information. While most are things we already know, there are a few surprising details!
• Nomura believe that everyone, even those who have already played CoM can enjoy RE:CoM, simply because of the transition to 3D, as well as the addition of reaction commands and new techniques.
• Sora can now attack in all directions, unlike in CoM where he could only attack left and right.
• "Search" mini-games like the trinity marks from Kingdom Hearts will return for Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix.
• Nomura has listened to critisism - there will be harder enemories in KH2: FM, just for experienced players.
• Because of this, the staff decided to add an enemy much stronger then Sephiroth!
• Although the new hero has not been revealed, Nomura wants you to look forward to seeing him because he is incredibly strong.
• So just how can they fit so much into KH2:FM? After the North American release of KH2, they were able to delete any unneccessary data, freeing up space for the new things.
• A lot of new things not originally planned for the game have been added.
• They have tried their best to cram as much as they can into the game, including voices, images, etc.
• They may still have to cut a few things out of their plans, simply because cutscenes and voices take up so much space, and they have to add the new secret movie.
• There are seperate disks for RE: CoM and KH2: FM.
• Not a lot could be shown at TGS because of Disney. There is much more to come!
• There is some sort of special meaning, referring to the new character shown in the secret movie shown at TGS. Just what exactly that is is unknown.
• Players will need to decipher things to understand everything clearly. It will some solving and reading. (I'm guessing this refers to the story?)
• Disney has already approached Nomura on the possibility of making a Kingdom Hearts 3. Nomura does not know when they can start creating it, but he has various ideas in his head concerning the next installment.
• Because FFVSXIII is also developed by the KH Team, there is hardly enough time to begin working on the next Kingdom Hearts Game.
