Today is the day that thousands upon thousands of Kingdom Hearts fans have been waiting for, and we're not reporting one exciting story, but two. First of all, the North American teaser site for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep has been put up on the Internet and can be found here. While there is currently only one item of content on the site at the moment, it is assumed that more will be added in the months that lead to the game's North American release.

The second piece of news is definitely the most exciting at the moment and has been awaited by the game's loyal fan base: Square Enix has today officially announced Birth by Sleep for North America. LOS ANGELES (March 16, 2010) - Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of Square Enix® interactive entertainment products in North America, announced today that KINGDOM HEARTS Birth By Sleep will be released in North America this Summer. Coming exclusively to the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system, the game is a prequel that reveals the untold origins of the popular KINGDOM HEARTS franchise.
