This is Spyells reporting! The Square Enix event DK£3713 provided us with a lot of new and exciting information regarding the Kingdom Hearts franchise. Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep has been slated for a 2009 release in Japan. And Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts: Coded have been set for a winter 2008 release in Japan. Surprise surprise, a treat for those of us dying for some media! IGN and Famitsu have updated with some higher quality images of Birth by Sleep, 358/2 Days and Coded. Look below for these great images.


IGN - Birth By Sleep:

Thanks to the Light in Chaos for typing up a majority of the text from the scans. I want to note that since the correct way of spelling "Shion" has not been revealed, I'm going to refrain from spelling it otherwise.

It appears that there was a mission in the demo where you could fight alongside the 14th, but the details are scarce in Famitsu's report.

358/2 DAYS SCAN TRANSLATION...

Hey guys, Riku-Keyblade here to let you all know that Gamespot has updated with some demo impressions for 358/2 Days. It should be noted that Gamespot's article goes against what 1UP had said about 358/2 Days' camera. 1UP had sad that there was no way to change the camera angle, but Gamespot is reporting that you can change it two ways: by using the stylus on the touch screen or by using the R button. Finally images from the trailers for the three new Kingdom Hearts games that were played at DKΣ3713 have been released in Famitsu and Dengeki magazine! A first look at Aqua! The third hero of Birth by Sleep has officially been presented to the public.

IGN.com has released a video showing small snippets of the new Kingdom Hearts titles 358/2 Days and Birth by Sleep in action from the Square Enix party, DKΣ3713. The video is embedded below. Though the clips are small, the gameplay looks great!

I thought I'd also point out that in the footage of Ven fighting Lucifer, he has definitely shrunk not unlike Sora in the Alice in Wonderland world from Kingdom Hearts! Looks like a fun battle.
