When are we expecting news? (EDIT: MAY 14 / 15 2025, 1,131 days after the first trailer)

Apart from hoping to get a new KH4 trailer, I want them to upload a proper video??? I mean, the first trailer is hidden in the anniversary video. How could they be THAT stupid to lose views because of not uploading the trailer properly?

From what I've read, we only got a KH4 trailer in the first place to avoid it being leaked (despite it already being leaked in that one NVIDA leak list, the one with the FFIX remake) so I wouldn't be really surprised if they weren't eager to show it off to the masses.

I'm 99% sure that the next trailer for KH4 will be the true first trailer, showing off much more than what we got initially - like Disney Worlds, other significant characters, some legible gameplay, etc

There’s a leaker who was right about the Steam ports, DQ3 being multi-platform, and some other things that posted hints to what is in the State of Play. Nothing screams out KH4 unfortunately.

I keep forgetting that there's technically two versions of Summer Game Fest and the partners are for every event under the SGF banner so of course SE wouldn't have been at Sony's event since they're not confirmed to be a part of it. Which means they won't be at Xbox either at this stage.

Why he decided to name the overarching event and his own show with the same name, I have no idea.

Pretty sure that's not how it works.

The partners thing is for Geoff's event only, not all conferences.

Remember, the rest of the conferences being part of the SGF is made up by him. It's not official at all. Is like if we started calling it Kingdom Hearts News Fest or something.

I personally doubt it would be KH4. Ghost of Tsushima sequel announcement is more likely for a “one more thing” type announcement. Those are usually games that they’re only going to show a title card or brief teaser for.

I don’t know that SGF would announce partners showing up in the Sony and Xbox showcases. I think the list is just A. companies involved in the main SGF show or B. Companies that have their own showcase planned.

And again, we don’t have the full list yet. So SE could still show up regardless.

i mean, geoff did get rebirth last year. but not getting my hopes though. i still think they saving KH4 for ps5 pro reveal event. KH4 is UE5 game, so they likely want to show it on the best console hardware available.

Geoff has been shouting out Nomura few times since last year's SGF and Nomura shouted out Geoff as well in one of the Japanese interviews.

I really am feeling good about our chances at SGF. All the pieces are lined up, their PR team is clearly primed to shift into high gear, and whispers are at a fever pitch. I wouldn’t despair about the SoP, I think that was unlikely to begin with.
