______________
A white cat with gentle emerald eyes sat outside of a tavern, cleaning its paw from a new kill. Her fur was matted with small patches of blood on her legs and stomach. She sat on a mound of clothing watching the passer-bys with mild intrest as she cleaned the mess that she had gained from her fight. Bloody paw prints lead out of the ally to where she sat, but following them backwards you could see that they were once much larger, not that of a modest stray cat, but of a much larger feline.
Following a bit further one might happen upon a drunken man, slumped over asleep in the shadey way, but a further study of said drunk would show that, though the sharp tang of ale was on his breath, so was a more metalic smell, but that came from his throat, and stomach. One would think were just from a knife, that the man was mugged, but the smug little cat just outside the tavern knew otherwise.
