Shoot Lock

This is a brand new concept to the Kingdom Hearts series, although the idea has been around since Chain of Memories, according to Nomura. Beneath the HP-bar is the Focus Bar, which, once filled, will send the player into Shoot Lock Mode. This is activated by holding down both shoulder buttons. A crosshair appears on the screen, with which one should attempt to lock-on to as many enemies as possible. Once the number reaches MAX, a Finish Command becomes available. This Finish Command is different for Terra, Aqua, and Ven:
Meteor Shower (Terra): Multiple blasts of light fire forth from the Keyblade, slaying enemies. It is activated by continuously pressing the O button. Rainbow Shower (Aqua): Sends a rainbow whirlwind of spiraling light that chases after enemies. This attack is unleashed by pressing the O button at the right time. Photon Charge (Ven): A straight attack that rushes into enemies multiple times at the speed of light. This is accomplished by pressing the O button the correct time. |
