The Holidays will be upon us before we know it, and Kingdom Hearts Insider wants to spend them with you no matter what you celebrate!

- The prize this year will be a brand new award! The lucky recipients will be able to show it off to their friends on the forum and be proud of their achievements. Yes, more than one person will be able to win this year.
- To enter this contest, you must be a registered member of KHInsider Forums. Click here to register!
- Please don't make an alternate forum account, or ask your friends to join the forum, so you can win. That will result in dire consquences.
- You can enter once in each of the following categories: Creative Writing, Creative Media, & Roleplay.

Roleplaying
- Entires must revolve around a famous Christmas or winter themed character. Rewritten in a completely different, and unique way.
(Ex. Instead of Santa Claus being jolly and happy, he becomes a grumpy, and thin man.)
- Please remember to keep it at PG-13 level. Show us you know English.
- The top winners' version of the characters will be used in a Christmas RP.

What the heck, I'll give this a shot. There's a Christmasy scene I wanted to write for a book anyway, so I guess this just kind of makes me get off my butt and actually get it done sooner. Wait, there's two scenes... hmm... gonna have to think about this...

I've been meaning to get something written up and posted here, so I'm in for a friendly competition. :)
You know what, I've had to write a lot this semester, why not try something fun? Been a long time since I've written for Kingdom Hearts anyway.
I'm entering (for real this time) so get ready for bad graphics + bad writing! Thank goodness this semester is almost over ;A;

By "short story" in Creative Writing, what is the limit regarding length? I'm assuming that fanfic crossovers are acceptable.

There isn't a word limit. We just expect it to be something like a one-shot. A story combined into one page.

Heh, heh. Well, I'm in trouble. My crossover has just entered way past one page into full-story length territory. What would you suggest, should I finish it or just provide the beginning as an excerpt so the story may continue elsewhere?
I'll try this one, since I was too preoccupied with other things to do the Halloween one. XD ill get started right away.(once I figure out the story lol)

Go ahead and finish it. I can separate it into two spoiler boxes, should it really be that long, and count it as one whole story. C: Although, I think it would be wiser to excerpt the beginning; if you're able to fix it in time, before you're without I-net. I'll accept it either way as a submission.

how do i upload a jpg. to the private message board
First you upload the image to an image hosting site like photobucket, imgur, imageshack, etc. Afterwards you copy the link for the image, then when you're writing the PM you should see a button looking like a photograph above the reply box, you press that then paste the url and it should appear.
