What would Christmas be without Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen? And Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen? Well, you wouldn't be getting any presents for starters, that's what! Santa keeps these favorite pets of his locked away safely all year before they get to stretch their magical, flying legs on Christmas Eve while they pull him along in his sleigh. The live reindeer are the muses for Jack's dead reindeer, which serve the same purpose, albeit quite more spookily, but Jack finally gets to have a test-ride with the real things at the end of his adventures as a reward from Santa. |
