First Appearance: KINGDOM HEARTS III (2018) The Lost Princess of Corona. When Queen Arianna fell ill during her pregnancy with Rapunzel, King Frederic sent his Guards to search for a mystical flower that had been blessed by a sundrop from the Heavens. The flower was given to the Queen in the form of a soup and she recovered. However, and old woman named Gothel had been hoarding the flower's healing power and used it to keep herself young for hundreds of years. When the flower was ripped from her grasp, she kidnapped Rapunzel and locked her in a tower, raising her as her own child. A few days prior to her eighteenth birthday, Mother Gothel has been sent away to pick up some white seashells for her painting, Rapunzel enlisted the help of the thief Flynn Rider, who had snuck into the tower, to escort her out of the flowers and to the Kingdom of Corona so she can witness the Lighting of the Lanterns. Along the way, Rapunzel and Flynn encounter Sora, Donald, and Goofy. They join forces to take down the Heartless and travel to the Kingdom of Corona. Once in the city, Rapunzel's long hair is braided by a group of children and she admires her new hair style. For unknown reasons, she leaves Sora and Flynn alone in the city. |
