He spoke about Kingdom Hearts 3, noting Keyblade Transformations (much like the Starlight transformation from the D23 Trailer) and Attractions. He also comments on the change to the Unreal Engine 4, stating that the team structure has been established and development is now moving forward. It's worth noting he mentions the new shader, the Kingdom Shader, that was talked about by Tetsuya Nomura back at E3 2013.

The connection between Kingdom Hearts X[chi] and the main series becomes all the more clear with each passing day. What began with the Book of Prophecy and the Foretellers has now expanded to the existence of the world itself.

For over a year, we've all believed that the guns were based off the Oathkeeper keyblade, since the colour scheme looked like a match (here's a picture of the Keyblade for reference). However it has come to our attention that this weapon might not actually be based on the Oathkeeper Keyblade, but rather, it's based on a weapon from the currently Japan-exclusive Kingdom Hearts x[Chi] game!

The cover album commermorating Utada Hikaru's 15th anniversary since her music debut in Japan, "Utada Hikaru no Uta -13 kumi no ongakuka ni yoru 13 no kaisyaku ni tsuite-", released earlier this month in Japan. This commemorative album features artwork created by various artists & photographers, including an illustration created by Tetsuya Nomura, and various popular performers like Yasuyuki Okamura, Ayumi Hamasaki, LOVE PSYCHEDELICO, and many more.

One of the songs honored on the anniversary cover album includes "Sanctuary", produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and performed by Peabo Bryson.

Kingdom Hearts merchandise is always so difficult to come by no matter where you live. While unconfirmed, a representative from Disney Infinity commented on a thread on the Disney Infinity forums in regards to the addition of Kingdom Hearts characters, toy sets, and more.

Square Enix has released a special behind-the-scenes featurette from their event in North America, "Inside the Kingdom, With Heart".
