To answer your question kupo, it is very normal for GameStop to do preorders for Funkos. They make a ton of money off of merchandise these days, and Funko Pops are one of their best selling items.

I don´t think it will happen and mostly likely just to be a rumor. We luckly got the new merch aside from Square Enix. If it´s real, i would go nuts for a Kairi Funko Pop Figure.

​Buying the KH Mickey Funko would show that fans want KH merch, so while I'd much prefer Riku, Aqua, or of course, Xemnas, I'd buy it.

If you go to your local Gamestop, you can actually preorder the figure right now. It's just that, as Master Spockanort said, Funko hasn't come outright and confirmed or shown photos.

I'm not shocked they'd start with King Mickey. Despite Sora being the face of KH, King Mickey is still the most recognizable character from the series. My dream is, after the inevitable Soras (KH1 Sora, KH2 Sora, every form Sora, Child Sora, Sora with Sea Salt Ice Cream, Sora with a Papou Fruit, Sora with Sea Salt Ice Cream and Papou Fruit), they make Birth by Sleep figures <3.

Btw if you want to ensure you get one, make your pre-orders as soon as possible. I wouldn't be surprised if this Funko sells out and never sees a reprint.

I was literally just thinking about how amazing it would be if we got KH Funko POPs the other day! This makes a lot of sense though seeing several companies are releasing stuff for the upcoming anniversary (like those awesome foam keyrings that I may or may not be buying too many of). Plus Funko has confirmed that they are going to have exclusive merch at the D23 expo AND there are rumors going around that they might also be making a Disney Funko subscription box, so I could totally see Kingdom Hearts merch being connected to either of those.

I'm going to be pre-ordering a few Funko pop figures soon, so I might head to my GameStop tonight to see if the Mickey one is up for pre-order (considering that this is a picture from their in-store systems, it should be available for in-store pre-order at most locations).

I had just read news yesterday that there were new pops of Donald and Goofy coming, along with Pete and a set of Chip & Dale. Now coming here and seeing this, I wonder if those might be KH versions of D&G, Pete, and C&D??? I hope so. Although I want Queen Minnie most of all.

Exactly. These type of lists are found regularly by Funko fans and they seem to always end up being true. I hope the KH Mickey is either him in the Org. cloak or the silver outfit from BbS, but I have a feeling it'll be the red one from KH2.

The only KH merch I have right now are strategy guides, the manga, a Shadow plush, and a couple of keychains in the shape of the Org. weapons that I use as necklaces. I've been hoping they'd eventually become Funko figures. I love Funko Pop, and will definitely pick every one of them up. I wonder if they might be testing the waters with the Disney characters (who might get picked up by non-KH fans just in case they don't get high sales) before moving to Sora, Riku, etc. Maybe that would also open the doors for Final Fantasy Funko Pop. :D

I just pre-ordered and paid mine off today at my GameStop in the middle of backwater Kentucky, so yes this thing is definitely real. I am kind of expecting him to be in his KH CoM look with the starseeker keyblade like how he looks in 2.8. Either way, I can't wait to see what he looks like. Hopefully we get an announcement on the other characters soon, if we get a full line at all (which I would assume seeing its a Disney license and Funko loves to go all out for those).

I want Funko's released of the KH original characters, so I'm buying the shit out of this Mickey pop in order to encourage more to be made.

Also, between those 3D Foam keyring things and now this, this is boding well for KH merchandise next year.

Unfortunately same. Play Arts Kai can drain my wallet any day, but I've never liked these. I think aesthetically, the only ones that looked cute were the Adventure Time characters (probably because they are so similar looking to the show counterparts - with their black beady eyes).

I can't relate. I think they're honestly some of the cutest things I've ever seen. They're basically chibi versions of misc. characters, which works especially well with anime characters (like the Sailor Moon line).

Unless they screw up and they're badly designed (which has happened every now and again with some characters I'd thought would look great), I'll be getting all the KH pops. If they make Pete, I have a feeling he might turn out ugly, just because it's hard to make characters with large lower bodies/small heads look right. Oogie Boogie looks awful for the same reason. Although occasionally they work, like with Ursula, although the design of her face/chin is pretty large, too, so maybe that's why.

Btw, I have to fully disagree that there isn't any effort put into the designs. Look up Ursula and Sebastian, Rapunzel with her hair braided with flowers, Mushu with Cri-Kee, Quidditch Harry Potter, Tigress from Kung Fu Panda, Regina with Fireball (Once Upon a Time), etc. As far as cuteness, nothing tops Dumbo (Flounder is really cute, too, in person, though pictures don't really do it justice). My favorite part of Funko is that they attempt to do the various clothes some characters wear--like Peasant Belle versus Yellow Dress Belle versus Winter Belle, or literally frozen Anna from Frozen. There's a version of Ursula with Crown and Trident coming that I'd been hoping would happen for a long time. :D

I own four Funko Pops, all of them given to me as a gift. This Kingdom Hearts Funko sets a dangerous precedent for me because I've avoided giving into the temptation of buying them and falling into their evil grasp.

They are adorable, you can just keep them in the box, and <3 <3 <3

@Spockanort: I have an extra bedroom with lots of shelves for my books/DVDs/games, etc. I put my merchandise (mostly Disney) there since nobody ever goes in there. I lined up my funko of Disney villains and princesses in front of my Disney DVDs. I put the B&tB characters among my books (Belle would approve, lol). I don't have anything on my video games shelf, so naturally that's where any KH or future Final Fantasy pops will go. :p


The only big sets I've dedicated myself to are Disney and Sailor Moon. KH would definitely be another. But I do have 2 HP pops--Harry in Quidditch Gear and Ron in his Christmas Sweater. I'm waiting for them to make Polyjuiced Cat Hermione so I have the trio.
