"Special message" in 1.5 ReMIX artbook + More!

This just in from the Square Enix Presents Live broadcast, it has been confirmed that Tetsuya Nomura will leave fans a special message in the upcoming releases of KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX artbook, with details of this "message" being unclear. The artbook only comes with the game if you preorder it, so make sure to do so if you want to get your hands on it!
There will also be a Facebook giveaway on the official KINGDOM HEARTS Facebook page, with the prizes including signed lithographs featuring the cover artwork from KINGDOM HEARTS 1.5, as well as autographed t-shirts featuring the logo. More details will be announced soon, so make sure until then that you've liked the page!
KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX comes out only on the PS3 September 10th for USA and September 13th for Europe.

These giveaways are really killing me lol xD There was one at the Re:Coded Launch Event and a 1-Up giveaway and I sadly didn't get either (not shocking since the chances are 1 in a million). That is literally my dream to add a piece of signed Nomura work to my collection (I know...despite having almost everything it isn't complete without a Nomura signed piece of art).

i think it either saying him thank you to the fans with him saying kingdom hearts 3 is under devlopement or just maybe a thank you to fans along annoncned of kh 3 and maybe a release year becuase you know how normura how can be sneaky with stuff

Preordered it way back when it became available. I'm gonna drill through that package with the strength of the greek gods, and read that book. Then play.

I used to say my life wouldn't be complete without a KHIII trailer, but now I feel it won't be without signed Nomura swag. Me wants! -glues face to KH Facebook page- Also... In Canada there are two separate listings, one for a bilingual edition of 1.5 and the Limited Edition with the artbook.
In the U.S. there's only one listing so you should be getting it.

It's understandable. I think he just enjoys surprising people so it always seems like he's teasing.
Hopefully there's more to the message than just please be excited for Kingdom Hearts III lol.

I want to believe that it'll be a release date for Kingdom Hearts III, but that's just wishful thinking. It'll probably either be a thank you to all the fans or a release year.

Depends on when you pre ordered it I guess. I know some places around my area, they keep in order who pre ordered the stuff So they get the stuff before the others, but that could just be a guess. Gamestop was like that with some of there games.

As for the Facebook I totally want that. I would give anything for something signed by Nomura.
Honestly, I hope it's a reveal for HD 2.5 ReMIX, or at least a hint to it. 1.5 was revealed at TGS last year, and the game is coming out less than two weeks before TGS 2013. Think about it. We get our pre-ordered copies with the artbook, read some cryptic message hinting to another remaster, and then two weeks later... BOOM! 2.5 is announced for a late 2014 release.
At least I hope so anyway :P

I would be perfectly okay with this message as well. Although it would be nice if Nomura actually did included something personal for fans.

I was thinking it would be something about 2.5. This is concerning NA and PAL release dates but what if they pulled a BBS and Re:Coded (which released september 2010 and january 2011) and released 2.5 a few months after 1.5? That'd be awesome. :D

I sure hope so. KH2FM is my favorite videogame of all time (Although it may soon be KH3, assuming it lives up to my super high OCD expectations), and assuming that they use the FM version like they did with KH1, the sooner I can play it in HD with trophies, the better.
It'd be even cooler if they had an artbook bonus for 2.5 pre-orders too. I love artbooks, especially if it's Kingdom Hearts.

We were informed that Amazon UK stopped taking orders for the "limited edition" about 2 weeks ago unfortunately. But surely it must be available through other outlets. If you haven't already, I highly recommend referencing Ethy's list of sites and stores to see if the artbook is still available there.

I'm definitely intrigued by this although I doubt it's anything TOO big. If anything it's probably just a teaser for KH2.5 Re:Mix or possibly KH3. I'll be keeping an eye out for it and I highly anticipate finding out what it is! Man life is always better with something right around the corner be it an announcement like this or waiting patiently for KH3! :smile:

I could be wrong, but I believe it was also said that there was a never before seen piece of artwork by Nomura in the book as well. Given that and the secret message, what if the very last page is the cover art for HD 2.5 and the message is the announcement of it?
But that's all just wishful thinking of course.
