Hello everyone!
To celebrate the upcoming release of Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX-, we here at KHInsider are giving away 5 pre-orders for Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX- Limited Edition. Each day one person will win a fully paid copy of the game!
To win a copy of the game, you simply need to have made the most posts on our forums for that day! It's as simple as that! At the end of each day, the person with the most amount of posts will be contacted in order for them to win a fully paid copy of Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX- Limited Edition.
To be in the running you must:
- Have the most posts on our forum for that day (excludes Forum Insanity and the Foyer)
- Be able to receive the game from amazon.com
- Be 18 years or older, or have parental permission
- Maximum one game per user
Giveaway starts tomorrow, July 30th. You can see the top posters of the last 24 hours at the bottom of the forum home page.

It's for the day. At the moment, the person who has the most posts for today is Anagram at 16. If we were to announce today's winner right now, it would be him as he has made 16 posts in the relevant sections and therefore qualifies. The contest doesn't start until tomorrow though where everyone will get a fair chance.

Spam, meanlingless and off-topic posts are not acceptable already. You can read more about what is allowed and what's not allowed in our FAQ's. Mods will be doing their job and if they see any spam posts, it will be dealt with accordingly. We will also be checking the winner's posts for that day to see if their posts have been spam in order to keep this fair for everyone involved.

Unfortunately, in regards to the lottery, we had people who only sign up to try and win and never come back. We also had winners who wouldn't reply during the allotted time, in which a new winner was announced, then they'd reply trying to win. We're trying to encourage members to post their thoughts and contribute to the site and hopefully we will engage them :)

This contest is only available to people who live in North America unfortunately, unless you know someone who lives in America who can ship it to you.
In the event of that, the game will be in the English language. I don't know if there will be an Italian version of KH2.5, unless it's subtitles only. Either way, the PS3 is region free so you would be able to play it.

Basically spamming or making off-topic posts won't work well in anyones favour here. To get ahead, it's best to generate discussion, post theories, maybe have a debate, and just have fun on the forums :)

I'd have to check with the giveaway purchaser since I'm not amazon-savvy, but I'm pretty sure all we'd get from the winners is their name and address. We put those details in, pay for it, and when December 2nd comes around, 5 lucky winners will get the game for free.
I remember when I saw Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. It was so cool!! They had so many secrets in it and a new drive form which is the Limit Form. It looks so cool!! Ive always wanted to try it out because it had sora's old abilities.

This isn't the only 2.5 giveaway we'd be doing, fyi. We'll have more chances to win a copy of the game later on, but we'd like to try something new first with this. Besides, posting is easy.

It's certainly possible. They do this all of the time. (Personally I think they announced this "Limited Edition" with the pin way too soon. They should have held off until they had more finalized plans. Oh well. I imagine there might have been pressure from somebody to get them to promote the game now to boost pre-order sales)

This is absolutely insane. I've been a member for 5 years and post semi regularly. I post less when there are no KH games coming in the near future, but still I visit from time to time if not to just lurk. I don't even have 1,000 TOTAL posts yet. But I've kind of found a home in Media Discussion. I can talk about things without having to try and understand Anagram's semi-daily theories on whether Xehanort is a heartless and if Sora can do this or that and if Terra and Eraqus are even real anymore etc.
Needless to say, I've given up on trying to win this contest. I simply cannot compete and I will not sacrifice the quality of my posts(they kind of suck anyway) to increase my post count. Good luck to everyone and I salute you if you even manage to get 50 posts in 24 hours.

I Totally get this (this is the only day I have off of work) and it sucks when some big event starts and I get all excited until I figured out the next day "Oh we scheduled you to work today".

I looked at the posts counts today at the bottom, just out of curiosity, to be completely shocked! Two people have already passed the amount of posts I've made throughout my whole (short) time on KHInsider, in just one day. But it all depends on the style of posts people make. Some people tend to post thoughtfully to continue the threads/discussions but you can also tell who is posting just for the sake of the post count. I've even caught several instances of small chopped up posts, spread out over a few minutes, when they could obviously have been kept as one.
Anyway, enough of my complaining, since it is a good way to flare up the forum. :P
There's no way I can win... I don't make that many comments in a day, and I don't want to start making multiples when I would normally just edit. I'd feel like I'd be cheating.

Although I had no intention to win this contest as hitting even 30 posts a day is a struggle for me (and I don't want to trade quality for quantity), at first I thought it was great that the forums are bursting with activity. However, unfortunately, it eventually became evident that some of the posts were made simply to increase post count. Their quality tend to decrease over time, there were necroposts, and some of them even were just conversations between two people, something that belongs in VM instead. It really is too bad.
I just want to drop by to express my appreciation to the staff members and mods for taking great care of the forums by keeping it fair and enjoyable for everyone. Please keep up the good work!

If you're spamming, you're probably posting something with little relevance to the current discussion and not contributing at all. You could also be repeating yourself multiple times in a very short period of time even if other members have replied to you.
If it becomes more noticeable, other members may kindly point it out to you, or a moderator will delete the spam and send you a message informing you of the fact.

The contest lasts twenty-four hours per day and the clocks runs out PST so I think you should be okay still. To win you just have to beat out the top person who's at around forty-something posts now. You can see the stats at the bottom of the main forum page.

And after they sift through the posts, the counts adjust themselves.

It isn't. A few out of the hundreds active daily are barely a fraction of the community. We know exactly who to keep an eye on. Those who are patient are rewarded the most, and the most just rewards come when those who are to be punished don't see it coming.

Oh, we were well aware of the cheaters for quite a long time, and you all caught on pretty quickly as well. The reason we hesitated to do anything was so they would mess up and expose more duplicate accounts. That way we could weed them all out with little trouble and prove a point in the process.

Yep, that's it! When we receive a winner's name and address, the order is placed immediately on Amazon. If a winner is concerned, we can provide a screenshot of the order to verify.
We do have some KH merchandise saved up for future giveaways. We just need to figure out how and when to distribute them since we can't afford to go through them all in a short amount of time.
We'll also have at least one more copy of 2.5 to giveaway after the game releases.

I stayed up till after 4am on Friday morning trying to win Thursday's competition against garnett, and then I woke up at 7:30 to my sister banging the door down. I worked 3-10, drove 45mins home, then went to sleep around 12:40. I slept through my 2:15 alarm and woke up to the 2:30, congratulated King for his win, and now...? Here I am still, almost 24hrs later.

Partially to encourage everyone to post more and step outside of their comfort zone, and partially experimenting to see what format would interest people (this is the first time we've tried this method).
We tend to do the opposite of most other sites and try to switch things up so that everyone has an equal opportunity, but we can only get so far by asking everyone what they'd like to do, haha. Sometimes we just ask a simple question and choose winners via lotto, sometimes we ask you to submit some writing or artwork, you get the idea.

And I sure wish this would have been EST, because I was up at midnight waiting out the end of yesterday's contest (simply because if I went to sleep, I wouldn't have got up). So I could have started 3 hours earlier, and finished 3 hours earlier. But NO! This won't be over until 3 a.m. tomorrow!
Haha, I know why it's the timezone it is and everything, I'm just messing around. I'm just glad I don't have to work until 1:30 p.m. Monday, so I can still get some sleep when this is all over if I don't pass out before that (which I might). A tip for anyone who ever needs to stay up for any reason though: Starbucks Mocha Double Shots, they work wonders. If my eyes start to burn from being too sleepy, I just need to down one of those and in 20 minutes or so I'm good for another 5 hours! But I only have one left... And drinking that many in ne day probably isn't good for you... Yeah.

Yeah, we were expecting you today man :/ It was pretty crazy this morning. But like you said, even if I don't win, it has been awesome partaking in all of these conversations. I even made a new friend during the contest!

you could still try striving for personal post goal. I hear they're going to keep the post counter ranking even after the contest is over so it would be kind of neat to see if you can be a personal record for each day!
I'm happy they're keeping the counter after the giveaway. It'll be nice to see how well you're posting compared to others and it can still motivate people to post more just so they can be #1 for that day.

It's nice to visit areas on the forum that you would not usually go to because you can learn a lot from what other people talk about. After this contest I intend in giving jon tron a second chance since I checked out a few of his videos based on recommendations from the community!

Every one braced them selves for what was to come including myself. If you were to follow the contest the whole way through you would notice which threads hold more ( what's the word I'm looking for...) vitality.

2.5 is just a remastered HD collection containing Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix, Birth by Sleep: Final Mix, and a full length film of re:Coded. So, Vanitas will definitely be in the BBSFM part, lol.
Unless you're referring to Vanitas possibly being brought back for Kingdom Hearts 3. In which case, since he had a scene in Dream Drop Distance I would be surprised if he didn't show up.

I read that in BBS some people turned on the EXP Walker ability, and then used a rubber band to keep the character walking in circles for hours. For every step they would get 1exp if I remember correctly.
I didn't do it, I worry about my analog sticks breaking after doing stuff like that. :P

Yes they did. It'll be much easier to do with the DS3/4 controller since it won't break *u* Just leave it on for a few hours while you are away and come back to it. Or leave it on overnight.
