It's been a 7 year wait, but it's all over now. Thanks to Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX containing english cutscenes in theatre mode, we here at KHInsider have recorded and uploaded the Final Mix scenes - now in English. These are the first high quality copy of these English cutscenes on the internet, and we hope you enjoy!
We have more scenes coming in shortly, but in the mean time, please enjoy these!

It is lip sync'd.
Is it just me or was there lipsync on those?
The lip sync was there in 2007. They translated the scenes and lip synced the lines as if they were talking despite no voices.
All it was a matter of was actually getting the voice actors to dub the lines.

At first glance, the voice acting seems higher quality than the Days movie, which is pretty cool.

You're welcome. I quite enjoyed watching these scenes (specifically Zexion interacting with Vexen and Xigbar), as well as all the Organization's interactions. So many hints for KH3D.
And that scene is short but sweet. Basically Riku promising Sora they can thank Namine when everything is back to the way it was.
I hope they lip sync even the Re:coded movie, it really needs it. Cool scenes, btw.

Those needs are going to be uploaded when I'm at uni, since it's 1 am already and I need to be there by 8:30 am and I need sleep.

Are you sure about that? From what I've heard, they usually animate the English lip synch based on video footage taken of the actors performing. Since these cutscenes were originally only meant to have Japanese voice overs, it would make no sense to put English lipsynch in them, would've been a waste of money IMO

The Org member do sound awful :P I could barely understand some of them. It's understandable of course but I wonder how much these new scenes will stick out from the rest.

Pardon me, it seems my ears were playing tricks on me. For some reason I thought I really was hearing a more energetic version of Xemnas' voice in the "It's Been Too Long" scene.
Just watched the first one, and the voices aside, holy crap the remastered Organization XIII music sounds 1000x better with real instruments than that wonky synth used in the original!

Well, then they have finally achieved the goal. Since Xemnas is supposed to sound like a slower Apprentice Xehanort, this is perfect.

Xemnas is still a tiny bit of Terra even if he is mostly Xehanort. Xemnas does this to Roxas as well in Days where he pats Roxas on the shoulder like Terra did Ven, also mentions how he has to watch Roxas sleep once again (like Terra watched Ven sleep when he was first brought to LoD).

One of many reasons that we get the remasters in the first place. :)
Anyway, I'm really digging the "It's been far too long...friend" scene. The quiet moments where Xemnas is just going into the Chamber and having him remember the when Ansem rejected his ideas for an experiment really helped set the mood. All of this is culminated in the epic delivery of Paul St. Peter's line and the touching/tragic/creepy overtones it had when saying the line to Aqua's keyblade armor.

Noooope. Those lines were recorded in 2009 by Lee for the original 358/2 Days. They had them in the archive.

Wow, I forgot most of these ... t'was a good memory refresher. These cutscenes are connected to many other games, and in HD + dubs, I think I love this game even more now.
Sooooo, about "the conclusion", making Sora a part of the organization was a thing since KH II FM? Mind = blown. Let me explain: Xemnas say "control ... test ... blabla", they're not talking about their KH (which should be complete at this point, since they wouldn't mind if Sora died).

Again I'm skimming through the videos because I would like to have some of the scenes be fresh for me. :P Is it just me or does anyone else find the Organization meeting scenes funny? By that I mean in the earlier scenes almost all of them have their hoods up because they haven't been revealed to Sora yet and then by the end all of them have their hoods down. That's the gameplay reason but why would the characters have their hoods up all that time and then suddenly decide to just leave them down? Because they feel like it?

Is it also just me or does Xigbar's delivery on the Chamber of Repose video from 3:01-3:06 sound very un-Xigbar like?

In my opinion he's easily one of the best amongst the English cast. Probably the best of the characters that have ever been playable.
Not sure how I feel about those translations. Specifically Axel's line being changed from talking about how salty the ice cream was to talking about how good it was, and Sora's opening line being changed from "i couldn't say it" to " hey Riku".
I can't believe that it has been so many years and we are finally getting these scenes dubbed in English

xaldin voice is good in beast castle but in this cutscene is like old man
Thank you for the scenes Chaser! I wanted to save these for the English release, but I ended up watching them all. I almost made it a full day, which is way longer than I thought I would. Some of the translations are awkward, but I loved seeing these in English. And Jesse is an absolutely terrific voice actor.

I like his voice actor too. It's an interesting voice that is very distinct from the other Organization members.

I gotta say that the "Goodbye...Buddy" cutscene really tugged at the old heartstrings (and we can actually see the tears in HD now).
"The Chamber of Repose" also had what was quite possibly the best performances that James Patrick Stuart, Derek Stephan Prince and Vincent Corazza did for Xigbar, Vexen and Zexion respectively.
On that note, I think I can safely say that everyone sounds fantastic in this dub, even Xaldin despite sounding a little off.
On yet another note, did anyone notice that in that last cutscene at the beginning, Sora actually sounded older for the first time in a very long time?
There are so many hints and connections to KH3D that really would have been nice to have in English back in 2007 ;~;

The "Thank Namine" scene kinda feels forced in there, though. Hello, big battle with Xemnas? At least Riku tells Sora as much, "once we're done here, you can thank her all you want!" Aw well.
Seriously though, the Org theme sounds much closer now to Another Side than before. Great job Shimomura.
Well, KHII had some rather awkward translations to being with, so maybe they did intentionally made the Final Mix scenes awkward to keep consistency!
