The Japanese Website for Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX- updated today with larger images of Birth by Sleep and brand new trailers for Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix.

Two new trailers focusing on the worlds of Disney have also been released which can be viewed below. These trailers focus on the worlds in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix.
KH Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX
Long before Sora took up the 'Keyblade',
there were wielders of the Keyblade whose
duty was to maintain order and protect the
balance between 'light' and 'darkness' -
the Keyblade Masters.
Under one such person, Master Eraqus,
three people named Terra, Ventus and
Aqua spent their days training hard to
become Keyblade Masters.
One day, Master Eraqus received news
from an old friend, Yen Sid, of a threat
arising in the realm, and of the
disappearance of Master Xehanort.
Master Eraqus ordered Terra and the newly
bequeathed Keyblade Master Aqua, to
investigate the threat. And then Ventus,
who was still in-training, rushed off to
the outside worlds too, in pursuit of Terra.
The three set off on their own journeys of
adventure, each with their own feelings
hidden in their chests, not knowing of the
great calamity waiting ahead...

re-release of BbS that built upon
the additions to the International
version of BbS, is the base for this
HD remake: The Final Mix version
is packed full of features that even
those who played the original KH BbS

Episode, many techniques to heat
up the battles, and tough boss battles.
(There are also many more added
features such as mini-games and collectibles.)
Be moved anew by even more
beautiful cinematics: As a HD
edition, it is of course in HD,
and the characters and background
textures etc. have been replaced
with the newest ones. Meet the
characters and their rich expressions
in even more vivid, beautiful worlds.
From 'English voices, Japanese subtitles'
to 'Japanese voices': The character's
voices, which were in English in the
Final Mix version, have been replaced
with Japanese. Now you can immerse
yourself in the story even further.
Game Clear Reward added:
Clear the game for the reward
of a custom PS3 theme!
Now with trophy support: Separate
from the in-game trophies*,
PSN trophy support has been added!

They sure do! Those few seconds they play of the Port Royal field music.....it sounds so much better in my opinion than the PS2 version.
It actually sounds like the film somewhat without those ridiculous electronic trumpet sounds =D.

That's brilliant! Really makes me excited to play KH2 again.
And the BBS screens look absolutely gorgeous in 1920x1080. I'm so glad they were able to make it look this good.

I am so excited as well for it all! I still quite can't believe myself we are getting what we are getting with 2.5. I think we are lucky as fans ^^ it is going to feel like a real step up to 1.5 I think. I hope they release the remastered soundtrack for us!
I agree, I do hear some of the remaster tracks including Port Royal's battle theme.

I looked into some of them yesterday, and while they're from the same scenes, they're are a few little differences in the timing of the image.

Loving these two things. That's a great way for including more trophies without hitting the trophy point limit.

I agree. Those few seconds of the re-orchestrated music were beautiful. I've been especially looking forward to the powerful boss battle themes as well, we got a snippet of that in that Tron battle.
And those screenshots! Damn BBS, it's going to be stunning. It feels closer to how it originally looked when we got all those screenshots of the PS2 version back in 2007/2008.
They updated the fish faces! By the way it's going to look epic.
Since its the Final Mix version, there's a chance we get to see the original scenes that were edited in the overseas version of BBS like Aqua and the mirror in Dwarf Woodlands.
The little snippets of remastered music we got sound great. He's A Pirate sounds more like it should now! lol
It all looks so nice! And finally Port Royal with the full orchestrated version of He's a Pirate!

In comparison to some other towns in KH? Definitely! ;)
I am extremely pleased with the updated soundtrack. VGO really outdone themselves and I was particularly happy about how they did the exotic instruments in Agrabah and Mulan justice.
Also, even though Atlantica sucked as a world, that tranquil music (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8RPJf8t7ag) which is the theme of the world, sounded kinda nice in the original game and based on that snippet of re-orchestrated version, I think it will be amazing...
...Still not going to participate in that "finny fun".
Oh gosh, it sounds so much better! No more funky synths! PS2 was the era of weird synths so I'm really stoked to hear everything they reorchestrated!

They fixed the error in Pride Lands, apparently. Originally, the world logo said the world was "Pride Land". But in the trailer, the world logo is corrected to say "Pride Lands". The old logo is still used elsewhere in the trailer, though...

Agreed. It'd take some effort for them to change it back to the censored version anyway-- and most of the people buying this probably played it back when it came out, so they're all big kids now.

Or Axel dying with a fading flame. Or green Hydra blood.

I had forgotten about the Axel/flame one! They definitely need to keep that one. D=
Did the KHIIFM+ retain the censorship of the international version? If not, then I would hope we don't need to re-censor this time around. We've seen guns, swords sticking out of folks, green blood / regular blood, etc. in Disney films themselves. So, it should be a non-issue.

Certain things like Hydra's blood were left out of Final Mix, though I imagine that might have been a case of preferring the edited effect of hitting it over the original. Everything else had returned to what it had been.
I don't think they will edit it this time around. (They better not ;~; )

They edited his sniper rifle and scope markings like in KH2. And it also seems like they slightly tweaked the scene with him losing his eye but I aint sure on that one.

I was looking at the screenshots, and something caught my eye...
Aqua has beautiful eyes. I just stared into them for a while. They really went all out on this. I'm pretty sure they all have really deep eyes, but they had a really nice closeup of Aqua where you can really look into them and see the detail.
