Hey guys. Even though Jump Festa is over, we're still getting attacked with a lot of new information. Famitsu managed to have an interview with KH director Tetsuya Nomura a couple of days ago, and in this interview, he managed to clarify some mysteries we're all wondering about, as well as sharing some very exciting new info. Click Read more to check it out!
re:COM
1. There will be separate areas for the battles, just like the GBA version.
2. The Bonus EXP and leveling style from re:COM is similar to that of the GBA version.
3. The stock technique is back.
4. You can have an additional reaction command after using a special technique, which will depend on the technique used.
5. An example: if you use Sonic Rave, you will be able to use another technique with it.
KHIIFM+
1. In the JF trailer, Sora's new form is shown to be similar in appearance to his KH1 wardrobe.
2. There is no connection between the Organization mushroom Heartless and the actual Organization XIII--they are only mimicking them.
3. Because the voice acting of Organization XIII in Kingdom Hearts II was so wonderful, Nomura plans to top that with re:COM.
4. In re:COM, the map gimmick will appear; for instance, you will see the Guillotine in Halloweentown clearly marked.
5. The character (the "knight") in the secret ending of KHII:FM, who was also shown in the Jump Festa trailer, is NEW, not Sora or Roxas. However, he is related to an existing KH character (who that is, he does not mention).
6. The scans and the Jump Festa trailer that show's Zexion wielding Riku's Soul Eater was just him "copying" the weapon, because Zexion has the ability of "Phantom/Shadow". However, Zexion DOES have his own real weapon.
7. In re:COM, the reaction command w/stocks needs to be timed correctly in order for it to work.
8. Nomura plans to continue the KH series, and plans for a big announcement next year (2007). He has multiple projects in store, but he wouldn't give out any detail about any of them.
9. They are planning to announce KH2FM+'s release date soon, though they are not sure when exactly that will be.
