First Appearance: KINGDOM HEARTS (2002) Origin: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
A princess unlike any other, Snow White is truly the fairest in all the land, with lips as red as a rose, hair as black as ebony, skin as white as snow, and a heart of the purest light. This beauty, however, earns her naught but suffering, as her cruel stepmother orders her to work as a servant girl in spite. Despite that, she always finds a way to keep smiling, and often sings a little tune to keep her spirits high.
When the evil queen drives her from the castle, Snow White finds herself lost in the dark forest. Before the darkness can swallow her, a bright light pierces through, paving a safe road for Snow White to find shelter with the seven dwarves.
However, the illusion of safety was shattered when the evil queen, disguised as an elderly woman, tricks Snow White into eating a poison apple by telling her that it would grant her greatest wish - to be able to live happily ever after with the prince of her dreams. With one bite, she falls into a deep slumber, unable to wake up.
However, that is not the end of the dear princess. The pure light in her heart reached out and shined upon the land, drawing the prince toward her. With one simple kiss, she is able to open her eyes and take breath once more.
