As cunning and devious as his master, but a lot more noisy, Iago serves as Jafar's eyes and ears. He attempts to steal Genie's lamp from Aladdin, and later protects Jafar's duplicate lamp when the latter became a genie. Loyalty is obviously not Iago's best trait as his quickly leaves the duplicate lamp behind once he is beaten. |
