Strong, kind, always there for you, and he's handsome to boot! That's Hercules, son of Zeus and Hera, gods of Mount Olympus. With his super strength and gentle spirit, he is the quintessential hero, and all his enemies know better than to even think of seeking vengeance. As such, it would be wise to stay within his good graces. He was set to enter as a contestant in the Games, but after meeting you and acknowledging your potential, he decided to offer up his position for your participation instead. Hercules discovers the tournament is just a ploy by Hades to force the winner into the Underworld. He races back to stop the final round between you and Cloud before a victor can be decided, successfully thwarting Hades's plan. However, he didn't predict Cloud volunteering to go to the Underworld anyway. Hercules boldly enters the land of the dead in order to rescue him, but fell victim to the Underworld's ability to sap the strength of heroes, allowing Hades to capture him easily. However, his victory is short-lived, as you are able to rescue Hercules post-haste. Together with you and Cloud, Hercules is able to defeat Hades before he can destroy the world. |
