These card soldiers exist only to serve the Queen of Hearts, and uphold her word as the absolute law to the best of their ability. However, they don't do so because they adore and respect her or believe in her judgement. It's because they are terrified for their lives and know that she will not hesitate to have them beheaded if they don't obey her every whim. But really, can you blame them? |
